Driving Digital Manufacturing with SAP Digital Manufacturing

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

With SAP Digital Manufacturing (SAP DM), we are replacing our old, custom-built MES solution. We are standardizing both our system landscape and our processes. Since we have already implemented SAP S/4HANA, we are optimizing the integration between SAP S/4HANA and SAP Digital Manufacturing as the MES solution within our company. This approach paves the way for the digitalization of our production through a Cloud-First and SAP Suite-First strategy.

  • performance
  • functional coverage
  • broader support for communication protocols for machine connectivity

Return on Investment

  • reduction of production downtime
  • reduction of scrap through improved data quality and insights
  • reduction of ready-for-production time through standardization
