Password Management Systems are a subset of identity management software dedicated to the generation, storage, retrieval, and securing of passwords.  Chiefly password management provide an extra layer of security by creating intensely strong passwords which the user does not have to remember, who logs in using only a password that allows access to the password manager; provided the device or devices required for login are not compromised this may present an acceptable and desirable balance between security and self-service convenience and flexibility.

Password Management System Software

The Self Service Reset Password Manager is used on the network as a Windows Password Self Service tool to assist users with their login credentials when needed. This allows the staff to unlock, reset their own user accounts without having to reach out to the Help Desk for assistance. Its deployed throughout the entire organization.

It provides ease of use in assisting end users with login issues.
Provides self-service when passwords or account assistance is needed.

The product serves its purpose fairly well. Perhaps an additional feature that can assist remote users would be beneficial.
Sending alerts or notifications when a user has been locked out would be great. We are able to access this information from the Admin Portal but a system generated email would be helpful.

It has helped us reduce cost on the amount of time spent on assisting users with Windows Login issues.
A decreased number of calls to our Help Desk allowing for IT to work on bigger tasks.
