Our organization uses SentinelOne as its primary endpoint protection tool. We install it on all institution-owed computers, both PC and Mac, and our servers as well. The installation also includes student computer lab PCs. SentinelOne is managed by our IT department and installed from our primary file server via an installation script.

I have now used three different major endpoint protection products at our institution in the last 36 months. SentinelOne is the only one that has been easy to use at an affordable cost, and been effective at protecting all of our endpoints. As a result, I awarded them a 36 month deal.

  • I do not worry about endpoints if they have SentinelOne installed
  • Endpoint management is virtually hands off, freeing our IT staff to focus on other matters
  • News updates from SentinelOne keep me informed of what is going on and as a result I consider them a trusted resource
Compared to all the other major players, SentinelOne is truly hands off. One installed, the tool is able to manage all the major threats on my endpoints without intervention. The biggest thing the IT Dept has to do now is just clear the incidents after SentinelOne has dealt with them. Every other tool I have used requires significantly more effort to maintain.
SentinelOne understands my needs, even when it comes to support. The product has been so solid that I have only had to use support a few times. In addition to support, my sales contact maintains a relationship with me and makes sure I am informed of what the company is up to and what is coming down the line.
Compared to the competition there really is no comparison. While there are many far better known endpoint protection products that have been around many years longer, SentinelOne puts them all to shame. It is the most solid endpoint/anti-virus product that I have used in over 20 years. It simply works and catches anything that comes your way, and leaves IT with nothing to worry about. I only wish they made a home-use product.
