We use ServiceNow for managing our entire IT business. We not only use the standard ticketing and requests catalog, but also PPM - project portfolio management alongside resource management and allocation across the entire department and Agile development for the ongoing software releases and drops. About 50 users worldwide get in sync using this tool in a pretty good way.

Monthly planning cycle: Business Stakeholders submit their feature requests and ideas, IT experts assess them and add Effort Estimation IT management set sprint SOW with the Business stakeholders Resources are planned, requested, and allocated. The job is done, change management process is conducted including weekly CAB meetings (Change Advisory Board). The change is deployed and documented.

I am working in LMS support and I am using ServiceNow IT Business Management for more than 4 years in my current organization and two years in my previous organization. ServiceNow IT Business Management is being used across the world. ServiceNow IT Business Management is my primary application on my day to day operation to support the users. ServiceNow IT Business Management performance is good, but sometimes once we close the incident if end user is replied saying thanks it will automatically re-open the incident and I don't like that. It would be great if ServiceNow IT Business Management implements some mechanism to read the closure comments and reply messages.

We don't need to worry about the backend infrastructure because it is a SaaS application and it is very easy to customize the business models and processes. Good option of adding products like software assets management, service management, HR management etc. An immediate tool to assign and monitor the work in progress of tasks, incidents, normal requests, and changes.

In our company ServiceNow IT Business Management is used to track and manage user requests, incidents, and service tasks. The application is used across the organization by almost all the employees. ServiceNow IT Business Management is one stop destination for reporting any issues and get help from the service desk.

  • Notifications can be improved. The mail notifications are little off
  • Category changes are not supposed to be hard
Whenever a user encounters any issue, irrespective of application, hardware or software ServiceNow IT Business Management helps the users. It has the capability to handle the request load and managing stability. Portfolio management and asset management are other great features. The toll has lot of capability for customization. Doesn't force users to work with only out-of-box configurations.
