I've used various appointment scheduler tools directly through Outlook and Google. Google calendar has an appointment slots feature that I've tried, but it wasn't the right tool for what we needed, so we ended up not using it. SetMore is the only paid appointment scheduler tool/software that I've subscribed to.

I have used Google calendar and Outlook calendar, but if the person you are inviting does not have those softwares, it is really redundant. Also, the aforementioned apps do not let employees book time on your calendar if they do not have an account, while SetMore easily lets anyone book time no matter what calendar app they use (or do not use). It is also very modern and easy to navigate, thus accessible to all.

SetMore is so much simpler while providing great features. The ease of use makes this a better product for our clients and staff without sacrificing many of the bells and whistles that others tout. The online booking pages ability to schedule without creating a login has led to more visitors scheduling appointments instead of clicking away when scheduling.

Used those in previous jobs, however, comparing against SetMore. SetMore is more open to internal and external users that can take in place. With the others, many needed a VPN connection to use it. No capabilities for external users of the organization to access and schedule or check the availability of the internal resources. That being said, SetMore needs a facelift. It is a great tool but is getting aged. New freeware available, freemium tools for similar purposes getting out that can fill the gaps where SetMore is failing.

I started the free version because it was free - but then upgraded once I saw it worked well. I chose this over Mind Body because of the lower cost and how easy it is to use. Also, it's one of the only similar products that you can place a widget on both Facebook and my own website.
