  • Document Sharing. This is a huge plus for the software as it allows an entire organization to easily share information and documents across departments and offices.
  • I like how you can lock certain folders and libraries down for a select group of users as well.
  • Easy to set up and train employees. We have to train a lot of employees yearly and so this is crucial to the ease of training and adjusting anything we need to make it as simple as possible.
  • When SharePoint goes down, you cannot access your documents, which is difficult if you need them at a specific time.
  • Mobile capabilities are not that great. A lot of crashing can occur when using an iphone or mobile device.
  • Upload times for larger files.
SharePoint CRM is well suited for larger organizations as it would be nearly impossible to share data across multiple locations and offices. This tool allows for easy data sharing and document retrieval as well as editing. One can organize, arrange, and share files in a very easy way.
It is very easy to create folders for each department and we can set permission rights which is great and allows for certain data and documents to not be seen by certain employees. HR as a whole uses this as well as the building employees and site employees within our business. I think less appropriate would be smaller companies as it is a costly tool.
