ShowMyPC is being used by the Support Services department of my organization. It is used to provide remote support and assistance in configuration management and software support services of the organization. Since the software is financial software and suites, it was crucial to have a support product with proactive support such as ShowMyPC where chat support is quick during business hours.
- Easy access to help with software issues.
- Technical support
- Access to Remote desktop control
- Recording sessions for paper trails
- No support for Mac
- Software produces lags at times, not the smoothest
- No integration with CSP's for file transfer

The primary use case is to assist an IT team working on computers across offices, or at times a server handled by another department. If it is offsite work and we need quick access. It also helps in getting access of BYOD devices of all employees and its file sharing feature is one of the most used in a few departments although support for integration with cloud service providers is a sore point.
