Great learning tool
SilkRoad Learning has [a] better process of assigning training and tracking the progress. It has better learning content and training can be executed in a better way. Compliance and policy-related training can be deployed in an efficient way. It's a great tool to help companies train their employees and increase their skills and understanding of the processes and policies better.

Fine but boring
Less good than Adobe, doesn't look as good, and less mobile/agile with fewer customizable features. Easier for people to learn how to use but slightly boring and didn't seem to be particularly popular with people. A system that is fun to use does get used more and more efficiently. The assessments and reports system was about the same.

Excellent solution for large scale learning rollout
SilkRoad Learning is much easier to customize and roll out globally. The Skillsoft product was expensive, cumbersome, and required a large ramp up time. When working with clients on Skillsoft, too much had to be predetermined, the languages were not fully developed and learners had to pay each time they accessed a module and get reimbursement from the company - it was not effective.

A GreenLight worth stopping for
I used Netlearning before they partnered with HealthcareSource. My experience with Netlearning was not favorable. The system was clunky, difficult to learn for new employees, and lacked many of the features and innovation offered by GreenLight.

Give GreenLight the Green Light!

In my opinion, no comparison. GreenLight is a much smoother platform, providing a more stable user experience, with less bugs, less software conflicts, and better support. I have developed and published dozens of eCourses on this platform, and it really shines. In addition, the suite of integrated products from SilkRoad Technologies (Red Carpet, Open Hire, and WingSpan) really impress when combined with the strength of GreenLight.

Think about stopping on GreenLight
We looked at a few other companies before selecting GreenLight but the main driver was its integration with other HRIS products. At that time, the cost/value ratio was attractive.
