I miss it now that I don't have it.
- The cost was very high

- It forced managers to stay involved in their recruiting and not just wait for HR to hire someone

- The system does not help with compliance so it is not the system for this.
Simple and user-friendly system!

OpenHire didn't work well for my organization
- It had a negative impact on our organization because of the huge amount of time wasted communicating with applicants asking them to complete their applications. Being able to have required and optional slots for specific attachments would have been a huge help.
- I got too many notifications without an ability to turn them off which wasted a lot of my time.
Gets the Job Done
- OpenHire has very positively impacted our organization. It has allowed us to streamline our process and keep record of all of our recruitment electronically instead of in paper.
- It has allowed us to have a consistent recruitment process in all of our countries
- It has greatly increased the efficiency of our recruitment team.
- Only negative is that our organization has an expectation for reports and we are not able to always give them what they would like out of the system.

- Negative- the onboarding experience was very negative until we found a way to manipulate OpenHire itself as a tool for onboarding. Positive- we used the email communications and application forms to communicate onboarding steps with New Hires and link to our processes.
- The job site was simple and straight forward for applicants and they were happy with the communication they received
- Excellent applicant tracking and record keeping regarding rejection reasons and hiring data.

OpenHire works for minimalistic recruiting processes.
- OpenHire will increase efficiency in your hiring process if you currently do not have an ATS. However, if you already have an ATS in place - depending on how advanced the tool is - you may actually find a decrease in efficiency.
- OpenHire does offer customer service hours for applicants which may alleviate some of the upfront questions going to your recruiters (technical in nature; not regarding the jobs themselves of course).

- It had a great impact to the business because prior to implementing OpenHire all recruiting was done via spreadsheet and phone calls. By implementing OpenHire we were able to track candidates more effectively, collect EEO data, schedule interviews, collect feedback and manage the entire recruiting process.
- Having an applicant tracking system great increased our efficiency in HR by allowing everyone to know exactly where we were in the recruiting process at any time.
