Beware Before You Buy or Leave
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We switched to SIS Partner Platform in 2022-2023. We were on Applied Tam at the time and the demos all appeared to have more functions for less money. Once we switched and tried to switch back this year we have found lots of issues with the system. They lack in CL forms, accounting, processes, and the support is non-existent if you need to talk to a person.
Also, when we moved, Applied sent them policy level information. But when we moved to Epic, SIS Partner Platform would only send "shells" of the policies. Any information had to be redownloaded from the carriers or manually input.
They also are continuing to charge us, as apparently the fine print of the contract is that it "auto renews" after each year. So, in our experience, you basically can only leave at contract time each year. At signing we were told we could leave after 2 years for any reason, this appears to not be the case.
In my opinion, I would run to someone else if you are a commercial lines agency and considering this system.
