Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We use Skillsoft Percipio (Skillport) to educate our students on subjects that'll be useful when getting their first job, many of them have never worked in a company before and lack skills that Skillsoft have in their library. It comes in handy especially because they can take courses on demand, whenever they can.

A useful platform to host a variety of training content
Pros
- Good capability to host all kinds of training types (PDF, Powerpoint, captivate-created training content, etc.)
- Gives an easy way for me as an administrator to track completion of the training content through the reporting feature
- Easy to add and remove users to certain training groups as needed
Cons
- SCORM compliance compatibility with adobe captivate projects is sometimes difficult to get right. Projects sometime shows as half completed when they should be tracking as fully
- I would like to see more kinds of reporting templates that can show more specific data to how a user has accessed a training project
- Not a huge issue, but Skillport does take about 24 hours sometimes to track completion of training content

- Positively increased the number of staff taking the required trainings.
- Positively allows us to have solid numbers on who takes the trainings and when.
- Positively increased the general knowledge of our staff on workplace subjects through the diversity of training content we are able to host on the platform.
