Skyvia is pretty good in synchronising data between cloud applications and relational databases in both directions. This feature is helpful in real-time data updating and maintaining data integrity across different platforms.

Skyvia is a good choice for data backup and restoration. Automatic daily and manual cloud-to-cloud SaaS backups ensure that our data is securely backed up and can be easily restored when needed. The search for backup functionality helps to find and restore specific records quickly.

  • Easy extraction of data from the most common applications, and its use in post-processing, at the best cost per record in the market.
  • Decreases the learning time of the information typologies between two (several) integrations.

We recommend Skyvia to our clients who need a simple, straightforward method to transfer data between databases reliably, securely, and affordably.

This is not an ETL tool of yore that requires specialized knowledge in whatever langauge the tool prefers. That simplifies the experience dramatically for organizations who have outsourced or less experienced technical staff.

I have not tried Skyvia in a large and highly complex in-house scenario where having the transformations occur more heavily in the tool rather than in the source or destination data solution is desirable. I have not seen any speed or performance issues that would give me pause, even at relatively high volume, even when compared to other similar tools. However I am not yet persuaded that its transformation tools are as robust as in other solutions.

I love the lookup ability for imports which allows me to find the unique identifier in the system I'm importing to. I've used formulas on occasion as well, which was great, and I've advised clients on setting up scheduled imports too, which is still working great for them. I've also used this for some very large data loads, and any limitations have been on the receiving system and not with Skyvia.

It was very simple to setup the connection required to both HubSpot and our Azure SQL server. It is then a simple process of using these connections to setup the replication of each table required from HubSpot and set an appropriate schedule. The only advise I would give after using it for a couple of months is to create a separate replication job per table as it is easier to then amend and rerun schedules if required.

Great to use if you need to quickly establish an API to a cloud data source. Very beneficial in setting up an integration and scalable to move forward for everyday use in the right scenarios. Would be helpful if there was a "dev" license that allowed for a little more data movement for throttle testing versus blowing your allowed data cap in one poorly written API call.

I guess Skyvia is well suited for regular data enrichment, syncing, and updating - because Skyvia Import is able to update only the data that's changed, for example. And is less appropriate if you need an instant update - as far as I know, it doesn't support any webhooks, so it won't work for some trigger-based scenarios.
