The only reason this isn't a '10' is because of the cost. This product is definitely meant for organizations who are serious about making sure they invest in the full ecosystem of API design, development, maintenance. But there is a significant cost associated with this investment. and because of this cost (and the non-tangible output for executives), it is a difficult line-item to justify in this post-pandemic environment.
Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why
I would definitely renew the ReadyAPI as I was pretty happy while using it. But then I switched my job, and the current workplace is using Postman so we are using it for now. Plus, I don't have any issues with Postman. At the end of the day, it about selecting the tool that gets your work done more efficiently.
Invested in 1000 of hours reusable test script and modules, and it still seems to be growing. Not to mention that even without that consideration, it would still be the choice for the type of testing SoapUI provides. It is in investment that was wisely made, and requires us to stay the course.
We've renewed SoapUI for a few years running.
We are not doing as much web service work lately so the cost-to-benefit ratio might not be there, but I can't imagine doing any development or testing without having SoapUI to use.
The easy to use interface and great support for creating mock services are among the major reasons for renewing the use of SoapUI.
This tool is invaluable to a test individual or organization. I am very likely to renew my use of SoapUI.
As a software developer, I find tools that allow users to gauge the acceptability of new applications very useful. Time gained from reduced hand-holding tasks with end-users and management allows me to be more efficient without sacrificing effectiveness.
No other tool on the market that can do the job for this price.
At the present time, I do not have much need for SoapUI as I am not working with SOAP based web services. However, this may change in the future at which point I would immediately turn to SoapUI.
All our test cases were implemented in SoapUI, and we haven't found any better then that.
Overall I really enjoy using Soap UI. Some minor functionality could be improved which is the only reason it did not receive a 10 rating.
I love using soapUi and it's an awesome tool.
Needs better UI implementation for Mac-OS
I need to evaluate again what I am getting for paid license versus the free version
Most new stuff in development where I work has not used SOAP so it's use is limited to legacy code. If I encounter it in the future I will once again turn to this tool.
This tool continues to stay in their vault along with other alternatives and productive tools. I am not sure if my previous company renew it or not. if I was still working there, I would definitely recommend to renew the SoapUI license and keep it active to test our software.
