We use SMTP2GO as a bulk email relay service to improve the deliverability of our emails. This addresses problems such as how you cannot use O365 for bulk mail such as invoices, etc that need to go out to customers.

If you need a reliable email relay with detailed statistic reports of deliverability and to see if an email is marked as spam, with easy setup SMTP2Go is a solid choice. The product does what it says it does, acts as an SMTP relay. If you are looking for a new letter relay program this is not the product for you.

SMTP is basic, and basic is all that we needed. Just a simple SMTP relay with DKIM, DMARC, and SPF so we can abide by best email practices this product was exactly what we wanted.

SMTP2GO was a life-saver when I first started using it years ago. I actually forget when it was, but my guess would be around 2007. Whenever I traveled overseas, my local server-based SMTP would start giving me trouble in delivering my messages. So I looked around for an Internet-hosted solution (the "Cloud" was virtually unknown in those days) and I came across SMTP2GO. I created a free account and lo-and-behold all my troubles vanished. Initially, I used to re-set my SMTP to my company server when I returned to the U.S. but quite soon, I left SMTP2GO permanently as my SMTP. As I started working with different companies, it became a chore to remember all the various SMTP logins. Therefore, I made SMTP2GO my default server. Somewhere down the line, I took a paid subscription and also started using their other features such as real-time email delivery and so on. Even to this day when our company has migrated to O365, which is a stable international emailing system, SMTP2GO has remained my SMTP of choice.

I have used SMTP2GO extensively to send all my official emails from different companies over many years. I traveled extensively and had initially switched to SMTP2GO because my company's SMTP server was giving me trouble while traveling in Europe or Asia. Since I switched to SMTP2GO, I've never had a problem in the many years I've used it.

Due to evolving security requirements using our Office 365/Exchange server, we were having evermore trouble sending out monthly reports and real-time info to our clients, which amounts to 40,000 messages per month. It was giving our Sys Admin person fits. I suggested using a third-party SMTP service for those purposes. I did some research and came across SMTP2GO. They offered a free trial and setup was a breeze. It became evident quickly that it was the correct solution. More than a year later, I keep expanding its usage and could not be happier.

SMTP2GO is well-suited for any mass or even just high-volume SMTP traffic. It's not necessary for average individual email accounts. For accounts not linked to individuals (notifications, newsletters, etc.), there's nothing better than SMTP2GO. I use it mostly for monthly reporting and delivery of critical real-time info to my entire client base. I also use it for any & all specialty tasks that Office 365/Exchange doesn't handle well. If Office 365/Exchange has an issue with some activity, I move it over to SMTP2GO and one minute later, the issue is resolved permanently; the optimal result.

Three users are non-technical and interact with SMTP2GO to see that messages are delivered and addresses are managed properly. I develop solutions that often use SMTP. Implementing a new solution using SMTP2GO is practically effortless. The other user is our Sys Admin. They have plenty of email issues to deal with. They are most thankful for the SMTP2GO solution as it represents a near-zero time sink.

  • I now route all coded SMTP activity via SMTP2GO. Endpoint data is stored in the database. Should a solution need changing, the endpoint data is updated without need to update code or SMTP handling. Very convenient.
I can't imaging having to do without it. That seems like a nightmare scenario.
When I first contacted SMTP2GO while searching for a solution, they were extremely helpful and attentive. I think it only took two email messages to answer all my questions and make a decision. I don't think I've ever needed any support to implement and operate the several solutions I currently use with the SMTP2GO service. It just works intuitively and flawlessly.
I did not purchase premium support. I haven't ever needed it. To the extent that the non-technical users interact with SMTP2GO, they've haven't ever needed support either.
