- Efficient.
- Work together.
- Lower the requirement.
- Snowflake has accelerated our ability to offer a single reporting solution that blends many disparate databases together
- There is a need, however, to carefully monitor costs. It's easy to bring costs up significantly through larger compute warehouses than needed, or by scaling too soon, or by not pairing the warehouse with the workload appropriately
- We have had some difficulty finding the best tools to ingest data into Snowflake from all our sources, and it must be remembered there is a cost to this element also

Extremely fast and efficient data warehouse tool.
- Much more reliable access to data encourages more people to utilize what is available.
- Quicker queries means that you can get data much more quickly.
- Queries no longer have a limit in size since the computing power scales up with the size of the query meaning that the types of things we're able to look for has significantly expanded.
- On the downside, this is definitely more expensive than our previous software.
- Faster data retrieval makes real time analysis possible.
- Option to create multiple warehouses enable us to track usages and cost by departments.
- Option to scale up/down computational warehouse to support peak hours and month end loads makes Snowflake cost effective.
- Zero-copy cloning reduces storage and deployment cost.
- Multiple users can access the same amount of data without deadlocks which is a common scenario in relational databases.
