We used Speakap to communicate with each other on different projects and to update the team on new initiative. We also used it as a way to have instantaneous contact, document management, and records of conversation. We also wrote custom apps for ourselves and clients to use.

Speakap uses a lightweight app and push notifications to get updates across a variety of groups, subgroups, and individuals.

Not only did we use it internally, but we also used it with clients and worked with large scale organization within retail to have a clear stream of communication between our team and organization.
