We use Splashtop to access remote desktops for our clients in order to log in to their seller accounts on Amazon, primarily to make adjustments to the bids, listing, or other marketing strategy tools. Splashtop is a great and reliable remote desktop software that I would recommend to anyone needing to access other monitors for work-related purposes.
  • Easy to download and set up.
  • Reliable, works consistently.
  • The remote desktop has to be on and working for you to access the monitor, but this is typical of other remote software as well.
  • It can get slow if the remote desktop you are accessing has bad wifi. However, that is not the software's direct fault.
For people looking to access monitors in other places, Splashtop works great. It is reliable, responsive, and works anywhere. We have several clients in other countries and parts of the world where we use this software to help them manage their Amazon listings. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a remote desktop software for business.
I’ve never had to contact Splashtop support, which shows how reliable the program runs.

We help physical product brands manage their Amazon accounts. With Amazon, there are certain things that have to be done by the main owner login. In some circumstances, it's difficult for our clients to do it themselves, even with our directions, so with Splashtop, we can set up a remote desktop once and then perform certain tasks from their login, using their computer, without forcing our client to do that work themselves (we can't simply log in to their account using our login due to certain Amazon policies).

We don't use them for most of our clients but for the ones where it is needed, Splashtop is a lifesaver. It's so easy to use. We can simply log in and pick the client computer we need to access. It's also pretty easy to set up for the first time. Other options, such as TeamViewer, are more difficult to use and WAY more expensive.
  • Easy set up. Once it is set up, you can access computers remotely at any time.
  • Very good pricing, only $50/year.
  • Every time we access it from a new computer, we have to click the approval email. It would be nice if we weren't required to do that.
  • Sometimes the "Wake Up" function doesn't always work. I would assume that's when the remote computer isn't connected to the internet, not sure if there is a way around that though.
It's great for Amazon Marketing firms who don't want to risk logging into their main client accounts from their own computers. It's also great if you have a special desktop computer at work that you need to access from your laptop anywhere. The pricing makes it economical and the setup is quite easy.
Never had to talk to their support even once.

Our entire organization uses Splashtop Business Access to access the Amazon owner for our clients. We are not able to resolve some issues from the admin access account our clients give us on Amazon. We use Splashtop when they prefer we handle the issue ourselves.
  • File Transfer - Being able to quickly transfer files between PCs makes life a lot easier.
  • Low Latency - There is not any noticeable latency, making for smooth work experience.
  • Setup on the clients end is a little tricky.
  • Connecting two separate remote desktops for file transfer would be useful.
  • Our use case is using it specifically to gain access to the owner account for Amazon without using a different IP address.
  • One difficult situation is when I need to access the computer while another person is using it. This is not an ideal scenario because we both can't use the PC at the same time.
The customer support is very friendly and typically responds quickly. We have not had an issue remain unresolved for more than two days.

We have remote desktops set up all around the world to control our products at tests and customer sites. Most of the operations can be handled remotely, so we use Splashtop to log into different computers to monitor the status of the products and the tests we are running on them. This is used by our manufacturing, engineering, and field service teams.
  • Secure set-up.
  • Simple UI.
  • Fast connections.
  • Ability to customize list of computers.
  • More straightforward file transfer.
If logging into remote desktops is an important part of your business, Splashtop has been my favorite product to meet that need so far! Some other products I have used constantly had connection issues, but I have yet to have any issues with Splashtop. It is a very straightforward list of all your available computer names, and then you click Connect! If you want to have a more "spreadsheet" type of view with more information about computers, Splashtop doesn't have that capability. It is a very comfortably spaced UI, which makes it less information-dense.
I haven't had to use customer support for Splashtop yet, so I'd say they are doing a great job at supporting their customers!

We use Splashtop Business Access to access the main Amazon accounts of our clients without causing any issues with the login and the location settings, for security reasons. Our whole organization uses the software, from account managers to project managers. It is a great tool for security reasons for the main logins of our clients.
  • Splashtop is very easy to use, and once you download the app it's as simple as a click to get into.
  • Keeps a secure central connection for our clients.
  • Sometimes has a weak connection
  • Can be glitchy at times
Splashtop Business Access is a perfect fit for our work because we need something to log into our clients' accounts that isn't constantly from a different device and with all six of our employees, Splashtop makes it easy for any of us to jump on and access their account wherever we are.
Very helpful and easy to understand.

Like most, we moved over to Splashtop from a different remote access provider and boy are we glad we did! Overall, Splashtop is great for us as it allows us to assist not only the folks we manage but our guests as well. It makes remote desktop so easy and it is always at our fingertips. We like how easy it is that we actually deployed it to our sales and marketing teams to allow them remote access to various machines.
  • Remote desktop - Obviously this would be the whole reason for Splashtop but for some reason, it works better than others we have used in the past.
  • File transfer is really nice and it actually works the way it is supposed to.
  • SOS function is great because it allows for us to easily access machines that normally we could not unless a full client is installed.
  • Drag and drop file transfer. The overall file transfer works great but the drag and drop transfer are very picky as to when it wants to work or not. This isn't a deal-breaker as I know it was just added not too long ago, it just needs to be tweaked to work 100% of the time.
  • Random crashes occur a little too often. No idea why it happens but sometimes when connecting to a remote machine the client will just lock up. Again, not a deal-breaker and it rarely happens, but it's annoying.
  • The chat function works but could use some cleaning up. It runs like AIM used to back in the day.
  • Email notifications need more customization.
Regardless of the size of your business, Splashtop works great. Whether you need a full-featured remote desktop or just a quick session to fix a couple of things, Splashtop has it all. We completely replaced another very costly solution with Splashtop and I don't think we'll ever look back. We have used it for support as well as a training tool. It is so versatile.
To be honest, I have only had to use the support once from Splashtop and that was because of a silly user error and then one other time to inquire about upcoming features for future versions. So I can't really speak to their support level as I have not really needed to use it. So that can be viewed two ways I suppose. But I see it as a positive.

We use Splashtop for remote access for users. It's an easy, secure and inexpensive way to give employees access from outside the office. We currently use it in our headquarters, but are planning to deploy it company-wide because it has been working so well for us. Our users have noted the dramatic improvement from our prior remote access solution.
  • Fast remote access experience
  • Support for features such as dual monitors and file copy
  • Business Access comes with a license for their On-Demand remote support solution
  • Inexpensive compared similar solutions
  • You must download the application in order to use remote access. No browser remote access interface support.
  • There were issues with screen blanking on remote computers while a session was active, but that has been resolved.
  • There isn't a remote "wake-on-LAN' feature
Splashtop is great for users that want remote access, but the company doesn't necessarily have the infrastructure in place for virtual remote environments. It's more secure then using VPN and allows employees to leverage their own devices to access the network. We found the experience to be very fast while working remotely. Splashtop must be installed on the device you wish to use to access the remote computer, so an impromptu session via a web interface isn't an option. This is a bigger issue if you are away at a hotel business center and can't install the software because you do not have administrator rights and the hotel doesn't allow you to install software.
Fortunately, I haven't had the need to use Splashtop support very often, but when I have, they have been responsive. The only time I contacted them was in regards to the screen-blanking issue. They responded quickly to my email and offered a workaround until they were able to resolved the issue.

Splashtop is one of the remote desktop applications that is utilized for accessing workstations. It is also utilized as a remote desktop option to sell to clients in order for them to remotely connect into their own computers. It works just like many other business vendors to provide a secure remote connection.
  • Fast, efficient connection.
  • Expected features from remote desktop including file sharing and remote printing.
  • Ability to easily switch between monitors and perform remote tasks on a computer(s) when necessary.
  • Large scale rollout can be improved, deployment is flakey.
  • Business Access Solo is very nicely priced, but numerous vital features are removed.
Splashtop does the job, quite simply. At times, I have had extremely compliance heavy clients that the "powers that be" have disabled remote access to. Splashtop is the only software that can consistently work and provide secure remote access. I can back this software as it has the same features as its competitors.

I use the app to access computers at two offices. In addition, I use the portable version to access from a networked facility when I need to download files for use at the clinic. It offers a very cost-effective and efficient way to do everything we need to do remotely. I like it much better than my previous solution (LogMeIn) not only for the better price but also because it is easier to use. I recommend it to anyone who needs to access remote computers and files.

  • Great portable version.
  • Easy multi-confirm login for security.
  • Very easy to use.
  • I can't find anything I don't like about it.
Keep files synced on one computer, but need to access it before the cloud updates. Making sure I have the most current files showing on the computer I'm using. Using the portable version to access business computers when operating at someone else's facility.

Splashtop is used organization wide and is built into our RMM predominantly for tech support usage. The business edition is an in place upgrade for those requiring more robust access which enables access for staff or end users.
  • Remote Access
  • File Manager
  • Printing
  • Screen Sharing
  • Cost-effective
  • Dual Display
  • Mobility apps
  • Connection Recovery
  • Logging on to the host
Perfect for cost-effective remote access and that is reliable and easy to use. Splashtop Business is not recommended in regards to dual monitor supoort as you have to switch between displays if you're connecting to a host with dual displays.

I use Splashtop to connect to internal (Business-use) devices, as well as personal devices. I have attempted to use Splashtop as my customer remote support tool, but it's not as great as some of the other tools on the market. I currently use ScreenConnect for its low prices. I manage 100+ users and paying for that many with Splashtop was significantly more and not as easy to install and use for the client.
  • There are applications for almost every Operating Systems
  • Mobile-ready, so you can connect to a PC from your phone
  • If the network speed isn't very high, Splashtop will optimize the connection so that it runs smoother.
  • Prices for the multi-use business remote support
  • Better mass install option for business remote support
  • Better optimization for using on strong connections. (Sometimes it can be blurry on a strong/fast connection)
Splashtop is great for connecting to some of your personal/business devices. However, I haven't found it to be the best software for connecting and supporting remote clients. The prices and installation are a bit more obtrusive than, say, ScreenConnect. This is in my usage, and your mileage may vary.

In our case is only used in order to give IT support to the servers or workstations of the company. I am in outsourcing, so I use this application to give them support. Thanks to Splashtop we can fix issues, problems in servers and on the computers of the users. And we give maintenance to the servers/computers, so we can work during the night without going to the office.
  • We can connect to computers with Mac, Linux and Windows (include the old versions and servers) from any device.
  • Have a great performance.
  • The price is excellent, and you can add any computer without affecting the price.
  • They have a nice support team.
  • At this momment I'm ok with the software.
It is a great application when you have to give support and you are not in the same office. You can grow with Splashtop because the number of computers that you add not affect the price.
