All of the staff work remotely and Splashtop allows us to access the server. All the departments use it for different purposes. We store big files on a server in California, and before uploading them to the cloud, we have access through Spalshtop.
  • Fast connection.
  • Doesn't lag
  • Easy set up.
  • I haven't had any issues using it. It's pretty straight forward. You just click "connect and" that's it.
It's well suited for any remote team that needs an easy-to-use tool to collaborate with each other. It's fast, reliable and doesn't lag, which is perfect for remote teams where you need to share files or show something to someone else remotely. It's a great tool.
  • I don't know.
I have never had to contact the support team or request a ticket. I've never had an issue using this tool or connecting to the server, that says it all about this tool. It's simple to use and straight forward. Every user has its account, just connect to the server and get the job done.
I think Splashtop's security features are good. Our operation's team takes great care when it comes to security, so if they decided this is good, then it must be. It sends you a verification code when it's been a while since you last logged in or you're trying to access from another device.
The setting up process was very fast. We were provided with a login, we created our password and that's it. Didn't have any issues with it. It was super fast and was logged in a matter of minutes, if not seconds. Didn't have any issues login into my account and creating a password.
Yes
We wanted to find another product because the previous one was too expensive. We used to use GoToMyPC. We encounter that the money wasn't the only benefit. It's speed and issue-free was a great advantage. The previous tool would lag sometimes, and we haven't had that issue with Splashtop. It's been great.

You need to know how to move around a computer and keep in mind you're working remotely, but that's about it.
  • Storage
  • Remote access
  • It's easier to use than the previous one we were using.
  • Not sure.
It's super easy to use and affordable.
  • Ease of Use
The most important factor was the ease of use. The previous one wasn't as easy as this one.
I wouldn't change anything.
  • Implemented in-house

  • Nothing. Was super easy to use from the start.
No, everything went smooth.
  • No Training
Yes, it's very easy to use, very intuitive. We didn't need any training.
Just right for this product. I don't think there is many setting up to do once you start using it.
I wasn't the one setting up, but the rest of it is very straight forward, I'd imagine the setting up would be the same.
No - there is no facility to customize the interface
No - we have not done any custom code
Nothing comes to mind.
No, I didn't purchase premium support.
No
Never needed support!
Because it's really easy to use. You just log in with your account, select a server to log in and that's it.
  • Connecting remotely to another computer.

It's a product that allows us to work remotely and access our servers from anywhere in the world. Our team works from different parts of the world and it's a great tool for us.
I've never had any issues with it, nor any connectivity issues. They always say when they'll be maintaining the system and it's always in the odd hours, so nobody uses then. But I've never had any issues.
Pages and servers load fast, normal speed. It doesn't lag or anything like that. I don't integrate it with anything else.
  • Box.com
  • digital pigeon
  • Goodle drive
I just use these tools when I access the remote server via Splashtop
Nothing comes to mind but if we do, I'm sure we won't have any issues.
  • File import/export
I've never had any issues.
None.
I wasn't in charge of buying it.

We use Splashtop to remotely support customers with their IT support needs. It gives us a reliable platform that is easy to use and is great value for money. Our technician uses it to support businesses worldwide.
  • It's easy for remote customers to install the software
  • It's reliable
  • After restarting remote systems it's easy to reconnect
  • Maybe make it easier to rename saved computer connections?
  • When new devices are added to the list it would be easier if there was a 'date added' field.
It's a great choice for an independent IT support company. lets us remote in to computers or mobile devices located anywhere in the world and use them as though we were there.
  • It's helped me support some customers that are on a limited budget. My costs are less and I can pass that on.
With a few simple clicks our customers can easily install the Splashtop software, allowing us easy access. We've been using it for over a year and have no need to contact support as it's always worked
We've had no concerns with security and trust encryption is the very best
Yes it's well designed and easy to use for both parties. Once the customer has received the link (through email) even the most tech-weary still manage install Splashtop easily. That is a big plus!
Yes
TeamViewer. It was too expensive for a small business like ours. We only need to support customers occasionally so did not want to spend too much on software.
