What is Splashtop?

Splashtop is a remote support software solution for IT, support teams, and help desks that enables users to securely connect on-demand to users’ computers and mobile devices with a simple session code or with unattended anytime access.

We have reached out to Splashtop support a handful of times and always received a response in a timely manner. Their support is helpful and thorough and lived up to the expectations we had for them. All of our support requests have been handled by either chat or email and both were excellent!

In my years using Splashtop Remote Support, I have only had to use Support on a couple of occasions. When I have, the answer has been quick and exactly what I was looking for. It literally is a tool that we just do not worry about. The only complexity has been some minor changes in licensing, however to this date we have been grandfathered in on older, lower-cost pricing.

In my opinion, it's NOT EASY! They took days to get back to us, and when they got back to us there was no option for real-time communication. Those folks have a good product, and it's clear they're making a dollar. They can afford to spend a few bucks on staffing up, getting better people, and even some who speak and can write business-level English.

The response is very quick and the staff is very knowledgeable about their product. Any time we have had a question they have been quick to assist and help us out. Unlike other companies with similar software, I have found that Splashtop employees (including Sales Reps.) are actually still there after 6 months. At the previous company we used we had a new sales rep every other month!

I have never had to use support. If I need help, I usually ask my fellow employee - the computer geek of the office. He has always helped me thru any problems.

I am currently on a support experience, the first as a user of Splashtop, probably because of a change in the IT policy at the customer site. So I can not answer truly to your question right now. As previously said, as the software is really reliable, I have not needed till now any support from the Splashtop team.

The support team is very responsive and the training and support materials are ready for all levels of users. We can reach all required information from the Splashtop Support Page. It saved a lot of time to Google, Bing .... and submit tickets for answers. No calls are good news, right?

We were surprised by how easy the software was used for end-users. It literally took 5 minutes depending on the end-user internet speed to connect from our techs. The software for the techs is easy to use with lightweight and simple menus. Not to mention the chat option for techs and end-users to communicate. This is our campus standard remote support for off-network.
