I think I have to give a neutral rating here. The usability for users and managers is appropriate, for administrators and developers the operation and development are quite complex and associated with a steep learning curve.

As a daily operator, it's quite hard to work with the oob products. Basic features like permissions or search filter adjustments are too basic to have a business value. A lot of features are also missing the simple delete feature. However, the usability for us comes also from a lack of functionality. Main work for certain requirements is done, where it is supposed to be done (Product data in PIM, order processing in ERP, data analysis in BI).

The back office is easy to use and supports many actions. User management is really straightforward. Product management is a bit more tricky, but still easy to do once you get the idea. The only challenge for us is master data. Spryker only supports a very strict customer hierarchy, which does not completely fit our customers, so there is work involved to transform the real customer structure to the one that Spryker is supporting.

Spryker Cloud Commerce OS is a system for ambitious commerce projects with a high degree of customization and enterprise requirements. There is no simple answer for this field of application. With a solution like Spryker Cloud Commerce OS, these requirements can be met without the end users feeling the complexity behind it.

Usability is pretty good, however you need to be aware, that a Spryker Commerce OS is not a PIM or a CMS etc.. If you need a lot of PIM or CMS functions, you should take a look which specialized CMS or PIM systems there are. Then you can integrate/combine them with Spryker.

Eventually, usability for the end customer will be determined by the design and development of the customer touchpoint. Regardless of that, all prepared/offered touchpoints (like sample storefronts or the back office) are designed based on common eCommerce standards.
