Acuity Scheduling, a Squarespace company

I think any business can benefit from Acuity Scheduling. In my experience, however, and maybe I just haven’t found the correct settings yet, it’s been difficult to manage 4 business schedules with multiple employees and varying hours that change day-to-day and week-to-week. So I definitely would recommend it to more simple business models with set hours, as it seems like it would have all the functions one might need. I still would recommend to more complex businesses like mine as well, but also include discussion of some of the potential drawbacks.

Acuity is great to use in the following circumstances: 1. You want to automate scheduling so that you don't have to go back and forth with someone via email about when works best for someone and save time; 2. You want to embed a scheduler into your website; 3. You want to automate confirmation emails after doing meeting schedulers. It's not great to use if you have a lot of complicated different types of meetings to schedule (user administration is not the easiest to navigate) or if you need to easily edit meeting types, agendas, etc.

I started using Acuity as recommended by an event support company for its ability to add other users for special events. For my regular calendar, I used a free app, but when that app lost my account information, I moved everything to Acuity. The learning curve was fairly significant, which is saying something, because I regularly teach myself new software applications. However, I'm now quite satisfied with Acuity except for the main issue, which is that I'd like to individually limit the number of appointments for each appointment type.

As a coach in the online space, Acuity is a foundational tool for me and my business. I use it for sales calls, client calls, group calls, promotional calls, accepting payment, etc.
If you're an online service provider, this is an amazing tool to delegate a lot of manual labour (sending out links, setting up meetings, reminders, questionnaires, etc.). I can also see this being a very useful tool for physical businesses that provide services.
I've been an Acuity user from day 1 in my business and I can't see myself switching anytime soon!

Super easy for the end user. A bit difficult for the owner. Would not recommend to someone unfamiliar with using software.

This is a perfect solution for anyone that needs to book appointments and wants to save their time. It seamlessly works with all my tech.

It's great for booking appointments or allowing customers to view a schedule and book themselves in. I use it for a small, one-woman business, but it would also be beneficial for larger organizations who want seamless transitioning between client contact and booking.
On the user end, it's great for maintaining and organized, seamless schedule to avoid conflicts or missed appointments.
I also love that it collects the client's information and provides a space to look up any client and their corresponding info quickly

Acuity Scheduling is a great option for service based businesses where hopping on calls is a core part of your sales and service delivery. Consultants, coaches, contractors and more can benefit from the easy scheduling features Acuity Scheduling offers. What's also cool is that the capability of the software can expand as your business grows - there are tiers, and at higher tiers you can do more with the software, like sell tickets to group events, for example.

Acuity Scheduling is perfect for any business providing an hourly service. This could be contractors, hair and nail salons, coaches and consultants and many more.

Acuity Scheduling works very well with our sponsor calls across multiple time zones. I love how it can be hosted on your own website, which increases the trust users have in it. The text and email reminders are very nice features as well. I did need to do some rewording of template confirmation emails and forms to make Acuity work for my organization's application, and I did appreciate how Acuity is customizable to allow for this.

For solopreneurs who are already overwhelmed with tasks and activities, Acuity Scheduling takes a task off your list off and automates bookings and meetings.

Acuity Scheduling has been really well suited to our use case which is based around not letting clients self-schedule. Other tools just didn't offer us the ease of use on the scheduling back end. Accordingly, if this is your use case, Acuity Scheduling shines. I can't speak to the relative usefulness of the client scheduling portal, though I'm sure it's fine.

Acuity Scheduling is excellent for small business owners who need to book discovery calls, client calls, or even connection calls. Anytime you'd be spending back and forth in email to schedule something, you can replace with with Acuity.

It is a great program for simple appt scheduling and integrating with a website. It's also great for clients who make multiple appts. It's not good when you need to create a buffer around appts if you use another calendar system like Google and sync the two together.

Acuity Scheduling works well for appointment-based needs with clients, new appointments with prospects, and consultation type needs as well. Frankly, it can be used as a general calendar, though, I think it is geared toward businesses with all of its flexibility and functions. It makes it easy for me to set times that work for me and customize the platform based on my business, and it also allows me to present a sleek, professional front to new and existing clientele.

Acuity is great for scheduling free discovery calls -- the person scheduling can see your available times and book what works for them. They can also fill out your forms so you have more information about what they are looking for, and you can set up automatic reminder emails for both you and the person scheduling.

I think Acuity Scheduling presents a very professional face for your business when scheduling anything with customers. If you're spending time on the phone talking with clients trying to coordinate schedules, it saves a ton of time to be able to send people to your 'scheduling page' instead to select an appointment. But if your schedule changes every week, you just have to make sure to update your availability regularly so it's accurate.

I recently coached one of my clients to become an online personal trainer and highly recommended Acuity Scheduling to that person. They are using it and loving it! Anyone who runs a small, one-on-one, client/services business can benefit from using this software. ESPECIALLY if they also use Facebook, Instagram, Squarespace, or any website to drive appointment bookings.

Acuity scheduling is just easy to use, plain and simple. It works perfectly for solopreneurs or coaches who don't want to be emailing back and forth about their schedules. With different user levels, I don't see why larger organizations couldn't use it as well.

I love Acuity Scheduling and especially for solo practitioners. My husband's office uses it too - it's a startup with about 100 people.

Honestly, I would give this product a 10. I beta tested 4 other online scheduling programs, and this was the only one that did everything we needed it to do and more. I went through over a year of testing other programs. We are very happy with Acuity.
