The Drive Encryption product is very user friendly and does not affect our day to day work.,Symantec Drive Encryption does 256 byte encryption. Connects to Active Directory to allow for single sign-on. Automatically encrypts drives without needing user interaction. If I forget my password the software has recovery tokens to allow access to the drive. Recovery tokens are provided from the management server.,The bootguard customization has specific requirements that are sometimes hard to match. Self recovery questions have to be manually created on the management server or on the client locally. It would be nice to see some hard coded questions that you could use. The management server admins are difficult to figure out at first. The Drive Encryption product is very user friendly and does not affect our day to day work.
  • Symantec Drive Encryption does 256 byte encryption.

The product is outstanding but the newest release does not support Mac clients but will allow you to manage FileVault. The product also is going to have the ability to manage BitLocker which will be good for environments that use BitLocker and struggle with zero management.
