Syndigo’s Content Experience Hub (CXH) connects more than 12,000 global brands and 1,750 global retailers and recipients — syndicating core, enhanced and rich media content for more than three million products daily. CXH was designed to offer more than traditional PIMS and DAMS. CXH aims to combine all the capabilities that allow brands and retailers to provide the best possible product experiences through content creation, validation, enrichment, syndication, and analysis.

We currently Syndigo to various retailers and distributors. Syndigo serves as a single point of entry and helps manage the amount of customization required for each customer. We also syndicate GDSN information to customers that require this. Syndigo helps us address data quality by providing auto notification of content that doesn't meet standards. We have also evaluated syndigo for digital shelf analytics.

  • Digital shelf analytics can provide more detail.
  • No cross reference record.
  • Unexplained errors causing syndication issues.
Well suited for quick setup and ease of use. Synidgo does not have the ability to maintain cross-references such as family items, accessories, replacement parts, and collections. Implementing and maintaining custom taxonomies is challenging and time-consuming, I prefer using an in-house PIM. Syndigo does have the ability to identify discrepancies that do not meet standards.

Similar offering to Salsify. I think Salsify has better digital shelf analytics. I think both do a good job rating overall content health at the SKU level. I think Syndigo has a more integrated API into various retailers and distributors. Both are quick and easy to set up and use. Syndigo does not have cross-reference ability.
