Link or URL shortening tools are used to create shorter and easier-to-read URLs that redirect to a webpage. The shortened link is useful for social media networks where the number of characters is limited, such as Twitter. Link shortening tools also provide analytics and click tracking on the shortened links. Many social media management software products provide link shortening functionality natively and/or integrate with standalone link shortening tools.

We used T2M to manage thousands of links across paid media, social, etc for our marketing campaigns. The main issue that T2M solved for was scalability - this really does sound like a fairly easy issue to address, potentially without the need of a 3rd party tool, but in our experience, it was well worth it.

Product Usage

Pros and Cons

The dashboards we used were awesome!
The stats were fairly detailed, and frankly more helpful than we anticipated going in (top browsers, top referrers, top platforms, top devices, etc).
SSO wasn't a must for us, but definitely a pro.
GDPR considerations are a huge part of our team's discussions, so it was good to know T2M was cognizant of that.
We used the URL expiration feature very often.

Things done well

The support was just ok in our experience (they were very responsive and kind, but our issues seemed(?) relatively minor and took some time to resolve, but maybe they were just more complicated than it seemed in our view).
We did really like the dashboards eventually, but I think they could be a little clearer/more intuitive upon an initial glance.

Things done poorly

I don't want to say that T2M is one size fits all - because they have so many features and capabilities that could be tailored to many different businesses and business needs. But I do feel like most any company, especially their underlying marketing departments, could highly benefit from its features.

The time savings is immeasurable.
Onboarding new employees to use T2M was fairly quick and easy, which allowed those efficiency gains to be even compounded.

Return on Investment

To be honest, I don't think I (or anyone on my direct team to my knowledge) has worked with another tool quite like T2M. We did a couple of demos for other options when we were looking for a tool way back when, but I can't recall off-hand what they were or how they compared (aside from we obviously chose T2M - strictly based on the other demos themselves).
