Yes, there were instances when we wanted some additional integration capabilities as the client requirements were like that. Those are not directly accessible in the default settings and needed admin-level privileges to make edits. The support team made sure that the capabilities were involved and the integration was seamless. So, overall, I'm extremely pleased.

During a recent Tableau User day we got treated to a preview of Tableau 10. It had just been released but the guys were able to demonstrate it live and to answer any questions we had to ask. Those at the user day were extremely flexible and knowledgeable and it made for a good interaction.

I found a particularly great visualization on the public forum. Turns out it was created by a staff member. I wasn't sure how it was put together so I sent a quick note and was blessed with the complete files with an overview of how it was constructed and an offer to tease out the details where needed. Clearly above and beyond.

Product buy- My product buy cycle was as long as 2 years with so much analysis comparison and discussion done by the stakeholders one the worth of another BI spending. Tableau sales executive was patient and responsive enough to every nerdy question they were asked

We ran into an issue with the Oracle driver for 64 Bit server when setting up the connection to our Oracle database, and when posted a question to the support they were able to provide the immediate reply with the correct driver to use.

When I renewed my subscription, I mentioned a few features that I would like to see in future Tableau releases. A few hours later, he had emailed me links on how to accomplish my desires in the current version. It might not be the easiest solution, but it is available. He has also passed my request on to the programmers, and it will be potentially included and made simpler in a future version of the product.
