We usually recommend tawk.to to clients who need a good chat system for their website. The customization options are fantastic, the implementation is simple, and it's all completely free. We used tawk.to and their beautiful chat popup to successfully double customer conversions on some of our projects. Our clients appreciate the ability to track their website visitors' actions - it is much easier to upsell when you know how the visitors browsed your website, and it is much easier to answer product questions when you know where the visitor is from and which product page they are on right now. Overall, a very useful tool that I highly recommend!
  • Previously, potential customers had to email us with any questions they had, but now they can contact us easily and quickly, which helps us to satisfy them.
  • We have been able to increase our "real world" presence on our website, providing users with support and sales guidance when they need it the most – when they have a question.
  • The low-footprint, web-based solution is simple to install and use (in most cases), and it provides insight into the effectiveness of our web pages and sites.
  • What I always dislike about any software is the branding that comes along with it.
  • The live chat module is not super noticeable since it's just in small print at the bottom of the chat module.
  • Small errors can occur, causing the extension in the webpage to disappear.

I have been looking for a live chat software that I could easily use to communicate with customers and I found Tawk.to. A Live chat software that I can use to engage with my visitors and potential customers in real-time. It has features that will allow to monitor customer activity in real-time, share knowledge with team members. It is a great tool to help improve my customer support and get more conversions and sales. Its sleek and unique design makes it load faster and doesn't load on the website. Can able to read context for visitors while typing.

We use tawk.to daily for most of our contacts. All visitors to our website can join us to chat in the popup box which takes them straight to a tawk.to chat. It is used by both our existing and prospective students/customers. It is used across our whole business and it is the main source of both contacts and sales for our company.
  • Being able to see what the contact is typing before they send is great as it allows time to prepare your answer.
  • The whisper function is invaluable for keeping colleagues updated and giving staff training.
  • The 'Ban' function is great for quick action when you have a nuisance contact.
  • It would be great to be able to quickly access pre-prepared responses directly from tawk.to.
  • It would be great to be able to link directly to email so you can send templates to contacts.
It's really good for new sales staff, especially when working from home. It is possible to offer support using the whisper function and ask questions of colleagues while you're in a chat with a contact. It's great to be able to revisit chats and address tasks for them when the chat is finished. It's a great way to collect contact information.

  • The "freemium" version is very good
  • Reliable
  • Easy to use
  • Quick to set up
  • Mobile compatibility issues at times with the chat icon too large and obstructing page features for users. No ability to customise this within our site.
If your business needs to set up a quick, reliable and simple web chat service look no further.
