What is TeamDesk?
TeamDesk online database enables users like
business owners or managers to build a database without any programming.
TeamDesk software consists of standard elements and works like a construction
set.
TeamDesk provides:

TeamDesk is a hosted database platform, allowing users to create an application - virtually any database structure to meet business
needs.
The database can consist of many tables to store the data, one for each entity needed.

Each table can have various views on the data it stores, to apply different
sort modes, restriction criteria, colorizations, groupings or the way to present
the data (via Tables, Calendars, Charts etc).
Views/reports can ask a user to enter some information (for example date
range) prior to displaying the data restricted to the criteria user has
entered. Alternatively the user can search for the piece of text in the whole
database (in case the user is not quite sure what he/she is searching for).
Also, in TeamDesk the user can generate Word/PDF documents
comprising record's data.
E-mail notifications can be used to notify the users about the changes other
users made, or to send the reminders before, on or after the date listed in the
record.
There is also a TeamDesk Mobile Client app for form filling requests and the other functionality.

An IT Tool no-one knows about and that would benefit many
- Implementing an internal administrative business process (ex Supplier Invoice collection, validation, and payment)
- Using third party APIs
- Generating automatically documents and sending them to third parties
- Sharing information within the company, or storing information in an efficient way
- The interface is a bit oldish now - very efficient but not so nice

- The ease of customization has been very helpful. As we use the system longer and decide what works for us and what needs changed, it's a matter of moments to be able to make any desired changes. Much more flexible than anything else we've used in the past.
- The customer service has been excellent. Any issues that have arisen have been quickly and fully addressed.
- We work with some large files so seeing the document storage capacity increased would be helpful.
- Top-tier cost performance.
- Superior customizability and system connectivity.
- Support always goes the extra mile.
- Foresoft is a stable company.
- Superior reliability and performance even from Japan.

- Gives a lot of flexibility to customize database to your needs without requiring coding skills. Even allows to customize interface if you can code in html.
- Provides unlimited space and records.
- Gives an opportunity to have a database on EU servers to comply with GDPR
- Offers very good pricing options comparing to competitors (Salesforce, Quickbase, etc.) and offers unlimited space.
- Gives an opportunity to share your ideas how to improve the platform, many of which are being implemented
- Customers service if very helpful and friendly. All my questions were answered within a couple hours.

- Setting up tables is so fast.
- Establishing relationships between tables simple, compared with other systems we tried.
- The standard user screens were quite useable as is. Although we are creating custom screens now.
- Single sign on.
- Maybe add integration with Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, etc.
- A couple help videos were difficult to follow (but many were very good).

- The only down side that I see, is that you have to be willing to spend some time creating your database. You start with a blank canvas and all the tools you need to design a custom database. But, you have to take the time to do it. If you take that time, it is well worth it.
