We have worked with with different solutions/vendors on the past, but communication was just no effective and previous solutions were just too complicated and inefficient from administrative prospective. Provide staff with something that will allow them to better utilize their time.,Further impact Easier communication Easy to get going It is really hard to mess something up,Admin interface looks like it is from 90s, internet evolved ever since Integration with major student information systems (they are fairly new so I guess it's ok) Their man developer is person who started company and he coded about 30 new features during their conference over night and published to production. It is great he is guru and he can do this, but there is no testing and what happens if something happens to him, no other developer have idea what was done in such a short period of time so it present a huge risk,8,It improved communication tremendously It saved some administrative processing issue Down side is that it takes time to understand that outdated admin console,,Entrinsik Informer, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365, VMware Horizon (formerly VMware View)The CRM of all CRMsSlate is being used by our university for the entire admissions process and for communication to prospective and applied/admitted students. It also being used as a contact database for organization contacts from churches to schools. It is being used for event management from overnight events to appointments and walk-ins. It is used for communication logging from sms messaging to phone conversations.,Their innovation and frequent release of new features. Their ease of integration that makes use by any school absolutely customized. Their invitation to be part of a large conversation on slate. [Their Twitter feed on the dashboard regarding all things slate],Probably just the aesthetics of layout. The layout and user friendliness of the mobile app. As much as I love their organic marketing strategy, I would love marketing material to share with other schools while I'm on the road. [Youtube demo, clean social media channels, etc],10,It has dismissed the need for outside services such as Wufoo and Active Campaign. It has dismissed the admissions main use of an outdated "crm": ECAMS. It has intertwined the way that we house everything from digital documents to interactions in a simpler interface.,cams and Wufoo,Microsoft Office 365, Google Drive, CanvaGAME CHANGERWe use Slate as our primary resource for assisting students in the application process for our university. We also use it for communication purposes, travel planning, monitoring communication, etc. It is primarily used by our department, but we are slowly helping other departments move towards using Slate. It addresses the issues of needing multiple software and resources to do our jobs and instead gives us a one-stop shop.,Allows user to maintain good track of communication that one is having with the customer. We needed a better CRM solution to attract new student population. If you need a better way to communicate with students and have further impact this is great solution because it handles email communication exceptionally well.

Any type of admissions/university scenario is going to be where Slate is well suited.

Because of its customization opportunities, we haven't found too many scenarios where it isn't appropriate. Maybe working from the app on a cell phone? i.e. making calls from a query list because of the clunky mobile format?

We use Slate as our primary resource for assisting students in the application process for our university. We also use it for communication purposes, travel planning, monitoring communication, etc. It is primarily used by our department, but we are slowly helping other departments move towards using Slate. It addresses the issues of needing multiple software and resources to do our jobs and instead gives us a one-stop shop.

Slate has changed the culture of our office and we are hoping it will eventually change the culture of our entire university. It is easy to understand, efficient, and a lifesaver! We are able to do our jobs and do them better than ever before.
