Terapeak has proven to be an inexpensive and versatile platform for various needs. Users have found it helpful in lowering sales rates, improving usability, and addressing any issues. Some users have experienced a decrease in traffic and sales since using Terapeak, despite having active listings. However, overall, users have found Terapeak to be a valuable tool for gaining insights and expanding their knowledge in marketing. The software has been instrumental in selling products and has helped users determine the best time to list products and set competitive prices. Users have utilized Terapeak for product hunting and obtaining information about products. It has also helped optimize item titles for better search results and customer visibility. Additionally, Terapeak has provided accurate data for pricing items and achieving fast sales. Users have used it to analyze the popularity of keywords in the eBay marketplace and evaluate competitors' performance. The software has been particularly useful for users selling technical or specialized products, helping them determine appropriate pricing. Terapeak has been cost-effective for businesses with multiple users, allowing collaboration and access to necessary features.

Users recommend trying out Terapeak with a trial run before committing to it. They advise conducting research to ensure Terapeak is the best fit, as there are other similar tools available. Many users find Terapeak to be a valuable resource for eBay sellers, greatly simplifying their job. However, users acknowledge that there is a learning curve due to the nonintuitive interface of Terapeak. Some users also mention the high pricing tiers of Terapeak, which can limit certain essential functions like exporting reports in Excel format. Despite these limitations, users believe that if one has the financial means and determination, Terapeak can provide them with an advantage in the ecommerce marketplaces.

I have used Terapeak to sell some surveying equipment on eBay for my employer. Since the items we were selling were very technical/specific, I did not know how to price them. It is easy to determine what these items cost new, but I did not know how to price them used so that they would sell. Terapeak helped me to determine a good price so that my company got a good deal, but the items moved. Since we had a lot of products to sell, I also helped a couple of coworkers to use the software. We had the business account, so we could have multiple users at a very reasonable cost (about $20/month for what we needed).
  • Gives accurate comparable sold listings to determine pricing.
  • Aggregates sales information well, so I do not need to scroll through pages of listings.
  • Helps with determining shipping/whether to turn on free shipping or not.
  • Helps with sourcing and deciding whether to pay up for certain items.
  • I wish I could use Terapeak outside of eBay. Why can't I use it with other platforms like Mercari, Poshmark, etc.?
  • I don't like that I have to pay for this feature. Other selling platforms provide their sold information free of charge.
  • It feels antiquated. I need to click through many menus and tabs to price items. I wish it would automatically move me through the pages, instead of making me fill out the information, then hit "next" or "enter."
Terapeak makes sense for people looking to sell a lot of items or resellers. It does not make sense for people selling one-off items or individuals looking to simply spring clean. It is great for determining pricing, what to start auctions at, and figuring out a shipping/returns strategy (whether or not to offer free shipping, have the buyer pay shipping, and if you should have returns allowed.) I would not recommend it if you just want to move the item out of your house or if you do not care what price an item sells for.
  • Aggregate sold information to determine pricing.
  • Sell through rate to determine how long we should expect to hold the item.
  • Business pro for multiple users!
  • We have saved time by using Terapeak for pricing. We did not price our items up too much but made them competitive with the market.
  • We made more money using Terapeak than we would have without it because we did not under-price items. Terapeak gave accurate comparable sold listings.
  • One negative impact was simply the cost. It was about $20/month and was set up to auto-renew. We forgot to cancel our membership and accidentally paid for a service we weren't using.
Terapeak can't be beaten for selling on eBay, because it is part and parcel with eBay. For comparable listings on other sites, I prefer Sellhound and Jungle Scout. I find that Webgility and Price2Spy are more helpful for SEO and getting to the top of Google's search results. I feel that I get more eyes on my products using other services when I am not specifically selling through eBay. But on eBay, Terapeak is the only service I will use.
