Text potential students about upcoming events and to answer questions in the intermediary.
  • Easy to set up groups
  • Easy to set up messages and schedule them
  • Easy to make additional purchases and track credits
  • Inbox is sometimes a little clunky or difficult to follow
  • Contact warning - wish there was a warning if a contact name was added more than once
  • Contact merger - wish we could combine two contacts information if contact was entered twice, etc.
Works extremely well for working with potential students and existing students. I can contact potential students with upcoming events and provide additional information or answer questions. Current students sometimes use the tool as an additional communication avenue.

Obviously, it does not work well for students who do not have a cell phone.

We used Text-Em-All to notify our engaged clients of the open tax portal, so that we can begin their projects. We used them annually around tax season time. The software was great in contacting a bunch of clients at once and to make communication easier for our clients. When the software provider kept our account open, it worked great.

In my experience, the software company closed my account because they suspected that my use of their services did not comply with their policy guidelines. I'm really disappointed about the account closure, as I was not violating any of their terms and conditions. I was sad to see it close as we had zero complaints from any client.

great for a mass phone call reminder initiative. We always want to ensure that people know to enroll at open enrollment, and Text-Em-All helps us meet employees where they are at. We can control messaging and make sure employees know what to do, when to do it, and how to do it.

The way we use text em all for our organization is for text alerts for events. We use them for special days but also if there is a day we could be closed due to inclement weather. We use it a few times a month for almost 100 employees.
  • Sends when you have the message scheduled.
  • Opt out options.
  • Ability to add pictures and long messages.
  • Add contacts on the app.
  • Be able to send out a mass text on the app not web.
  • That's all I can think of.
It works great for our organization because people likely forget when special days at work are. People always like the reminder. We also use it for reminders of when a donation may end, like a coat drive.

We are a church. We use Text-Em-All to send out prayer requests for our members and to share important information. We serve supper on Wednesday night so we send out what will be served that night. This has been an invaluable tool. In the past many phone calls had to made and it was so time consuming. Using Text-Em-All is a life saver and saves so much time.
  • It's always available. On my computer or my phone.
  • People are able to respond to the texts without having to call.
  • Messages are saved so we are able to look back at them and reuse them with changes.
  • For the most part the number of words is fine, but sometimes more would be helpful.
  • I would like a way to delete old text responses.
  • Emoji use would be nice.
I find Text-Em-All to be a valuable tool. It saves so much time and reaches so many more people. I only have one person that doesn't receive texts. With a text, information is there to look back at so people don't need to call for the info again. Only a couple of people have complained about not getting a phone call.

We were having issues with people actually reading text messages due to the auto generated number being unrecognizable. The solution that was given by a customer service representative was to add the feature of Landline texting. Moving forward, our Text em All messages were delivered from our office phone number (which all of our employees recognize). Problem solved!

Due to our geographical location we deal with unpredictable weather. As such Text-Em-All allows us to communicate with our employees easily during an emergency closure instead of calling over 300 employees. Additionally, it is very helpful in a 24hr business to be able to message specific employee populations or remind them of upcoming events/training sessions.

  • Can bulk add multiple numbers/accounts at once instead of manually uploading them
  • Different cost/business options to use as needed. We currently purchase credits as we send out but we could upgrade to monthly charges if we wanted to send more messages out more often.
  • Would like to see more options to bulk remove accounts/numbers as HC options change it would be nice to not have to manually remove everyone
  • Would like to see more options in terms of how long/short a message can be
In my opinion, Text-Em-All should be used sparsely for the greatest impact with your teams, and only in the event of closures or rare reminders when events/training is upcoming. If you only use it for emergency situations or sparsely then it will be more well received, and more employees will buy into using it in my opinion.

I am a trustee on the board for the Village of Hopewell, IL. I also serve as the Chairman of the Roads and Grounds Committee. We have been using the Text-Em-All system for over five years. This product helps us greatly when we need to get important information out to our 450+ residents. It has proven to be a valuable and efficient means of communication, and our residents appreciate the quick updates as well, especially in cases of emergency.

  • Gives our residents peace of mind knowing they are in the loop.
  • Maybe an easier way to remove obsolete numbers.
The pump that supplies our water system went out on the 4th of July last year. Many of the trustees and staff were out of town, so there was a sense of panic among our residents since no one had water. We were able to use Text-Em-All to quickly get out information and updates on the repair. We do not use it for sharing non-urgent information like dates for our garage sales, community gatherings, etc.

We are a church, and we use this app to send out prayer chains, reminders, and announcements.

  • Shows on an easy-to-read chart how and when calls were made.
  • Easy step-by-step process.
  • After I have gone through all the steps and have a call set up, sometimes I forget to write down the id number to call in with and there is no way to go back to find it. So I end up canceling the call and doing it over again.
It is great during the winter when road conditions are bad or if we have winter weather and need to postpone service to a later date or time. I make one call/text and everyone gets it.

We use the service during the months of June, July, and August to communicate with 120 13-21 year old pollinators and detasselers for fieldwork. We send a message out each day with start times and notes about the day. I have a lot of parents and workers on the list that receive the communications. The service works great for our uses.

We use Text-Em-All to reach our frontline employees that work in production and do not have access to company email. Our use was born out of COVID-19 when mass messaging became mandatory for certain situations. We continue to use Text-Em-All because it's the fastest way to reach someone on or off the clock. We have called "all-hands" meetings that span across the country in a matter of minutes with the texting service and it has worked great for the most part.

We use Text-Em-All to get out bulk notification to our customers. As a water utility we can have emergencies, like main breaks, which can affect hundreds of customers. Before we had Text-Em-All we had to call each and every person individually to deliver a message that their water was going to be turned off, which required all six of us in the administration department to work together to try to get the call out before the field guys had to turn off the water. Now it takes one person to pull the list of customers, format the list of names and numbers, and upload/send the message to as many people as we need to. It takes minutes now as opposed to hours to get the message out to everyone.
  • Love the new text to voice feature, it works great.
  • The instructions are easy to follow.
  • We love the detailed list of calls, and which ones didn't go through and why.
I think Text-Em-All is great at getting messages out to customers quickly and easily. When we have a large amount of customers we need to contact with the same message it works fantastic. I think the only thing that we don't appreciate so much is the ability of the customer to "opt out". We understand why it exist, and it is on the customer if they don't want to know they will be without water, but we think they shouldn't be able to opt out for their own benefit. Oh well.

I work at a MLB Stadium for the St. Louis Cardinals. Our schedules change last minute sometimes, we have breaks in-between and need to send reminders. I also use it to communicate with groups of crews, individuals, and send out any new communications that they need to be aware of, example: We had pay cards switch companies so had to be sure all received the information.<br><br>This tool has been a lifesaver. I personally have never had any issues. <br>One suggestion or request would be that the body of the text could have more characters. But I manage. :)

We use Text-Em-All for our church. We have used this service for several years now. It is so easy to use and helps us a lot. We use this service for prayers requests and also to remind our members of upcoming events. Also the customer service is great! The staff is friend and helpful.

It is great because you can get information out to a large number of people quickly. We use it often for prayer requests. Knowing there may be 100 people sending up a prayer for you is a great comfort. When the power was out in our community but not the church no one had to wonder if we were having services. The water department issues notices of shut offs and water leaks that may interrupt service in customer areas. We also notify customers of food give away when the police department has received donations from local churches.

We utilize Text-Em-All to send out mass text messages with information to our employees. Also, we utilize it to text employees in a pinch when other methods of communication have not worked. The issues we run into are those that opt-out of the messaging and are therefore unable to receive the messaging.

In my opinion, Text-Em-All is well suited for companies that have a large base of employees that need to send out mass communications for. Mass communications can be in the form of notifications for overtime, fire drills, tornado drills, etc. It is also beneficial when you need to notify your employees of bad weather and what to do. I would say it's less appropriate for smaller companies where you have less than 50 employee.

We use Text-Em-All to contact our students and let them know about events and programming. We also remind them of deadlines and upcoming requirements. This product helps us contact students more efficiently and in a way that they will actually respond to or acknowledge. We use it for about 50-100 students.
  • Allows us to contact large groups of students through text.
  • Grabs the attention of students more effectively than email.
  • I think the price is high for the service. We pay $119 to contact our students.
It's appropriate for less formal messages and announcements. It is also easier to reach younger populations (like students) that are less likely to see or respond to emails.

My company uses Text-Em-All to communicate quickly and promptly to get the message across all employees. This has helped tremendously with send out safety notifications such as when all employess should take shelter for a tornado. This app has helped my organization even communicate with one employee on a one-on-one basis. I highly recommend this app if your organization is struggling with communication.

I have used Text-Em-All personally and professionally. I have two accounts, one I use to send out a church volunteer schedule along with reminders. This means I can make a quarterly schedule, send, and set up reminders for the next 3 months all in one day. I love that! Otherwise, I’d have a clunky group text and would have to send multiple reminders each week. I also use a professional account for my job to send important announcements, send info for managers in a separate via a group to ensure they all get necessary info at the same time, send info on upcoming events for employees, etc. This has been a perfect solution to communication issues that existed in the company. Info used to pass word-of-mouth and wasn’t at all reliable as it was continuously shared and changed. Now, everyone has an “official” source for reliable information.
  • Scheduled delivery: works as it should every time and is SUPER convenient.
  • Mass contact upload: I was able to pull a report to excel and it loaded PERFECTLY to ‘Contacts’
  • Feedback: if anyone doesn’t get the message, I will know almost immediately.
  • The 320 character limit: just a teensy bit more would be perfect! 350??
  • The app: it would be SUPER convenient to be able to mass text from the app. As a remote employee with varied hours, I might be away from my computer when asked to send a mass text. Right now, that means going to the website on my phone. It would be much better if I could just click the app and do it
Text-Em-All is perfect if needing to send text messages en masse fairly regularly. It’s MUCH more organized than a mass text which can get confusing or annoying with multiple replies.

If not needing to send messages to lots of people fairly often, then there’s no need for it. That’s the only scenario I can think of where it would be less appropriate.

Text-Em-All is a very user-friendly and easy method to use for mass communication. We use it for recruiting purposes and thanks to this company, I have been able to reduce the time it takes me to communicate with our applicants from several hours to merely minutes! This has significantly made my job easier, and I intend to continue using their services for our recruiting and mass communications purposes for the foreseeable future!

Depending on the business season, I can receive anywhere from 10-100 applications a day. I have been very pleased and thankful for Text-Em-All for the way it simplifies communications and allows our administrative team to have one unified platform available on multiple devices. It allows us to easily maintain our roster in one place. The broadcast ability is one of the most useful tools for communicating with everyone in the brokerage at once, which allows us to stay better connected and serve our agents at a higher level.
