How ThoughtSpot Differs From Its Competitors

In my opinion, it is essential software and is very valuable for helping in decision-making through correct data. The response time of real-time analytical analysis of processed data is incredibly high and demonstrated from graphical dashboards. It is something valued by us at IT and managed.

It would be very quick for a new user to connect a database and then start building a dashboard, likely less than a day or two. However, to use the full functionality and to work with various datasets, I would say a couple of weeks is enough to get up to speed.

Time to market ROI is massive vs hiring the full-time dedicated team to build and maintain a frontend multi-tenant SaaS data viz product.
It will be interesting to see over time how the advanced features play out in terms of usability and end value, such as Natural Search, which we are very excited about, and the machine learning tools.

ThoughtSpot has reduced the overall cost of my clients for their visualization requirements.
Since it charges on basis of storage, it pushes the developers to optimize the data as much as they can.
Sometimes, the buggy nature of ThoughtSpot results in failure of pinboards.

I think ThoughtSpot helped save a lot of time of people (mostly in IT and Finance), so there's a tangible return of investment.
I also think this helped to give better visibility to our teams. Having the option of drilling down helps the team to be more informed and under the detail.
