Easy to Use Lead Capture for Small and Medium Businesses
Thrive Leads provides an elegant lead capture solution that is seamlessly integrated with the Thrive Themes suite of products. Our website is built using Thrive Themes, so Thrive Leads was a natural choice, though not the only solution we considered. Thrive Leads solves the problem of intelligent lead capture that is beautiful, easy to design (drag and drop hallelujah), and easy to TEST! A/B testing is a built in feature for Thrive Leads. We also love how many different lead capture options Thrive Leads presents.

- OptinMonster and Poptin
I've used Optin Monster and Poptin on other projects. Both are good software for different use cases. Poptin is great if you are scrappy, just getting started, and you need a proof of concept and want to keep costs low until you've tested the market. Poptin isn't anywhere near as easy to use as Thrive Leads, but that $0 price tag is meaningful while you are just getting started.
OptinMonster isn't as easy or intuitive to use as a builder, but the advantage is that more VAs have used Optin Monster as have used Thrive Leads, so you often don't have to do as much training. I would consider OptinMonster in cases where a website isn't build using Thrive Themes and where an incumbent VA is already well versed in the software.

Robust Lead Generation Plugin for WordPress
We chose Thrive Leads to power an email opt in campaign for a WordPress website supporting a national radio program and blog. We needed a highly customizable opt in solution to have multiple offers, rich analytics, and filters for where various offers are displayed. It helped us quickly grow our email list by converting traffic to our blog into email subscribers.
- Customizable opt in options (banners, fly ins, pop ups, etc.)
- Rich analytics for tracking conversion rates, etc.
- Detailed filters for where to display each campaign
- Experienced a few bugs and slowdowns on high traffic sites
- Could use more flexibility for tagging leads in our email provider
- Occasionally stopped working in the back end — needed customer support to help

I reviewed a number of WordPress opt in plugins, such as Elegant Themes' Bloom opt in. None were as customizable and detailed as Thrive Leads. Many are fine for a basic opt in form, or even some more advanced filtering and display options, but only Thrive Leads allowed us to completely customize the opt in boxes, and only Thrive Leads provided the level of customization and analytics that our campaigns required.

Thrive Leads Will Improve Your Conversions, No Question!
We use Thrive Leads to capture all email addresses for a number of lists on the website. The software lets us create individualised forms in a variety of formats (slide in, pop up etc), which creates a better user experience all round. The ability to have a specific form appear on a specific page and not appear on others is also highly useful.

- Can use multiple forms on a site and not just one
- Forms can display depending on page and content
- Easy to update forms across the site
- Great analytics and easy to see what's working
- The form creator is WYSIWYG, but not 100%
- If computer is slow, forms are slow to load
- Form loading can sometimes affect Google page speed insights
- More signups
- Better analytics to determine which forms perform best
- Better list segmentation due to use of tags
Both Leadpages and ClickFunnels are great products but because they are so specific in many ways they didn't allow me to use them right across an entire website. Thrive Leads has integrated their products so well that you can use them on any wordpress site and of course with all other Thrive products. I also found the cost much better and the constant updating of the software means it's always up-to-date with the market.

Thrive Leads has changed our lead capture process!
It is being used organization-wide to capture leads for all of our e-learning programs. Thrive Leads is used to collate and manage all the leads that we capture. The leads we capture through our landing pages. It has allowed us to connect with our autoresponder and emailer in an easy and functional way.

- Sometimes it is a little complex.
- Some of the terms used are not very clear.
- Sometimes editing the lead generation forms is a little difficult.
- Has allowed us to increase our contact list more than 50% in one month.
- Our income is nearing our yearly goal thanks to the leads we captured.
- It has reduced the time spent on lead capture.
The principal difference and advantage that Thrive Leads provides is that we have full control of our contact management, and we can work in a WordPress environment, which is very convenient for us, something that ClickFunnels and Leadpages can't provide for us. That is why we'd rather work with Thrive Leads.
