This is my second business in which I engage Thryv! I absolutely love the fact that I have ONE dashboard and resource for providing proposals to prospects with the ability to pay directly through my e-commerce portal, market my expertise via my social media platforms and email campaigns, and the customer service is outstanding, unlike any other providers I have worked with in the past.
  • Website design, maintenance and support.
  • Proposals to Invoices and acceptance of payment.
  • Marketing and branding tools such as social media posting and scheduling as well as email newsletter campaigns.
  • Ability to post to personal social media platforms.
What I have found to be the most critical for my business as a customer of Thryv is the ability to provide an invoice and accept payment with direct linking to my bank account. This has had a dramatic positive impact on my cash flow.

Before Thryv, we had several vendors to handle different aspects of our business. We have a vendor for appointments/scheduling, we have another vendor for our website, and we had another vendor for a secure portal. We started looking at Thryv for its social media capabilities. When we learned about the other offerings, it was a positive change to centralize all of this in one place.

I use it for marketing my website and my social media and email blasts. It allows me to have all my information in one space. It also allows me to gather all the information that Thrryv collects to re-target potential and existing customers. It also sends out amazing automated posts for me 12 times a month. There are so many other features I am still learning. The customer service is simple and quick and always available.

  • Since I use Shopify and they host me it would be nice to get a financial break for not using that part of the package.

Well suited for a business that can take advantage of all they offer like domain hosting and payments as well as appointment setting automated features. Those are things my online-only business does not use. For me, I like that all my contacts are in one place. I love that they take my company information and keep it current across the board with all different browsers. I love that they helped me with my Google presence and showed me how important reviews are. I love that they are teaching me what I need to do to get more visitors to my site with all their tools such as email blasts and social media posting. They have a library of articles you can post based on your industry and the articles show how many views they have gotten. So many positive attributes to Thryv. I can't wait to unlock them all. As I use Thryv more I learn more cool things that can help me BUILD my clientele. Which they have also taught me is the real key to making money. Slow and steady wins the race.

I live in Thryv every day! I use it to keep track of my clients, prospects, and connections. I go through Thryv to post to my social media, create invoices for clients who are on contract, send out notices, take payment, and schedule appointments. I keep my notes on individuals in their folders and communicate with them through Thryv so I have a running history. If you want to be able to Brand your emails through Thryv forget it unless you buy one of the more expensive packages. They don't think their "Premium", their title not mine, customers are good enough for that needed option.
  • Customer service is FANTASTIC!
  • Put regularly used and needed tasks under one umbrella.
  • Makes it easy to schedule and post to Social Media
  • Saving emails from Gmail to Thryv when a client doesn't email thru the Thryv link doesn't work all the time causing you to have to physically copy the email and put it in notes.
  • Emails sent through Thryv do not show up in the sent folder of gmail, for historic say.
  • You can't forward an email sent through Thryv.
  • The task reminder system doesn't work for me. I need to be able to have one place to go, to see the list of tasks for that day. Thryv doesn't have that, or I haven't found that yet. I started using TaskBoard so I could get and hit all my tasks at one time.
  • The scheduling tool needs some work too. I have had issues with it when people from other time zones make appointments.
  • Presently they offer "texting" through Thryv BUT you have to have a landline that accepts texts. Who has a landline these days? I transferred my business line (a landline) to a mobile phone so I can no longer text through Thryv and have record of it in my clients' folders. Therefore, I no longer have that historic information in their account. Seems backwards!
  • They claim to be for small businesses but some key features are not offered to the Premium member. One particular that I actually was one who asked for, was only offered to the higher paying customers. Something that should have been for everyone from the beginning, being able to add your logo, picture, etc. to your email signature. You can even do that in gmail! BUT NOT IN THRYV, unless you pay more! If you want to be able to individualize your signature with your logo you better subscribe to the larger packages, or go with another service!
Thryv is not for everyone! It all depends on the needs of the individual's business. If they are wanting to scale back on the number of tools they have to use and pay for, to accomplish their business needs and those tools include a scheduler, Social Media planning/posting tool, an email marketing tool, etc. then Thryv could be for them! If they are looking for a tool to automate some of the communications with their clients, Thryv could be a fit there, too!
BUT if they are a small business, solopreneur, and need to start with the entry package BEWARE! The Premium package doesn't have the basic things that the more expensive packages do. One is a customized email signature so you can have you logo, picture, etc. in your email signature. This wasn't offered at all a year ago. I asked for it to be added. Evidently others did too because this week I got an email that they had added it BUT NOT for the Premium Package. Something that is basic that EVERYONE should have access to BUT you have to pay more! It didn't make me feel like a valued customer that's for sure.
When I go through the CHAT I get immediate response and immediate help. No need to schedule an appointment, or wait for a call back. There is someone there within minutes, sometimes seconds, of me signing on to help me with whatever issue I may be having, or with an answer to whatever question that I ask.

Thryv helps manage my business website and social media pages. Before Thryv I only owned the domain for my website but didn't have time to do anything with it so they were able to take control and build it from scratch for me. Also, before Thryv, I was struggling to post once a week on Facebook, whereas with the help of Thryv I am able to post daily on 5 different social media sites, including Facebook and 4 others.
  • CRM made easy.
  • Post plans for social media sites are easy to use.
  • Website development/management.
  • Low fees associated with taking payments from clients/customers.
  • I await the day that Thryv can integrate with Xero.
  • Google Messages integration would be handy.
  • There have been less than a handful of days where the site crashes and I have to reload it several times to get it to work properly.
Thryv is well suited to those that want their CRM, invoicing/taking payments, website management, social media management, etcetera in one place. It is not suited for someone who wants to have different companies handling different aspects of marketing and customer relations.

Thryv is used to submit quotes, view our current leads/opportunities, social media management, online presence, website and appointment setting. Currently, our sales department is the only department that utilizes Thryv. Thryv has been working great for Seiler Plastics, as we mainly use Thryv to stay in contact with our leads and send out estimates. Very happy with how everything has been going the past 2 years!

Thryv is being used for estimates and keeping track of our current and potential customers. I also like to go into our social platform and make sure that all of our posts are accurate and relatable. It is a great tool to see what our pipeline total is for all the quotes we have given to current and potential customers.
Thryv support has been nothing but great since the first week we purchased the customer relationship management tool.

Thryv platform is suitable for me because the CRM tools are very beneficial for me to compete with larger companies.
  • Thryv is a specific application and is that I can get quick responses if I need or ask anything about my work or related to my confusion.
  • This platform also helps my sales persons and our social media presence in the online market place.
  • The communication with this platform change all aspects of my company positively and that I have a great experience with Thryv in all aspects and this platform makes us professional in the market.
  • Thryv software emailing portion needs to be more modified because the limit of text’s characters and email side is not well according to my expectations.
  • The Platform is too complex and is only for small business owners.
  • We need professionals to use this software and to work on it because this system is too complex for us and those, they work by themselves with a little bit of knowledge of it.

  • It takes a while to get any customer service assistance.
Any social media marketing job, website development, email campaigns, or training schedule. It is less appropriate to be used for the day of use.
Although getting through to the right person may take a while, they have the ability to take over your screen and always assist with whatever you need.
