Timely Salon Software was introduced to us as a reminder for salon inclusions in our organization for smooth and satisfying timely visits to the salon. Men and women both would experience a disciplined way of going through the salon for timely relief from day to day life they had. The reminder through messages was such a takeaway where we didn't need to put our heads in to remind ourselves about us getting relaxation.

So basically Timely Salon Software was introduced to us for more of a relaxation thing, but we were tensed that whether it will be a headache or a solution to our way of getting satisfied and relaxed during the salon sessions, and exactly what we wanted was what we got. Thank you for such a software

Harvest has been a very competitive software when compared to timely software, but both the software has their own pros and cons, which I really find interesting. Harvest has a better cloud-based system, but when it comes to discounts and customer service timely based software has been a very true and good software.

Timely was our appointment booking software for clients. They allowed for online scheduling, sent automated re-booking text messages, and helped us keep track of our clients' progress via notes.

I've researched a lot of salon software, and Timely was the top-of-the-line software that does it all compared to competitors. It has a friendly interface, offers easy ways to communicate with clients via text and emails, and provides insights and reports, so it indeed does everything you need for booking software. On top of that, it's cloud-based, so say goodbye to only accessing your appointment book through your computer at the salon.

Timely is by far the most user-friendly and fun to use. It's got a great interface, works on iPads, and training is super easy for the team. Other software is clunky and takes too long to set up and train the team to use.

Timely was used to book sales and consulting appointments for our company. By integrating it with Google Calendar it made sure that there were no double ups.

  • Support is slow and not very knowledgeable. Taking into account that they work only UK time, makes it almost useless.
  • Users are taken through a very lengthy booking process that required a lot of information from them and gives a price only at the very end. Because of that, we have got only 5 bookings in 5 years. Majority of people preferred to book over the phone as it was too difficult.
  • Event/Class booking does not allow you to book more than 1 ticket at the time
Hairdressers or massage salons, the places where they are too busy to take an appointment via the phone effectively. Places with high pace client walkthrough and multiple staff members. Timely is perfect for environments like that as it would assist in automating a huge part of the admin processes.

In my experience using it for high-value services, [it has] proven to be a sales killer due to two main reasons: 1) Booking process taking so long, that a lot of clients change their mind or just call, as for the money that they are saying they are expecting better service. 2) Shows price only at the end of the process, which clients don't like, they want to know price upfront.
  • Bragging rights, yes. Always cool to tell how automated your business is.
  • ROI, no. In our case, it wasn't worth the time spent in integration into the website, system setup, plus subscription fee. However, take into account, that High-Value Professional Services is a wrong industry for this product.
  • Convenience and confidence that there will be no double booking across G Suite and Timely was tested and were really handy at the times.
  • No ability to use our own SMTP. If your server has Anti-Spoofing DKIM and etc., setting it up with Timely was a nightmare as support had no idea. So a lot of emails were going to Spam on the client's side.
  • Calendly does not have Xero integration (was a deal killer for us), Timely Does.
  • Calendly does have much nicer booking process, compared to Timely.
  • Calendly does not have Google Calendar Integration (was a deal killer for us), Timely Does.
  • Calendly does have GoToMeeting integration which was very attractive.
