The depth of our integration is minimal - we haven't been able to allot the resources to take advantage of how deep the integration can be built in order for us to get a better gauge of customer health, but we want to get to that place eventually.

Integrating with these products was a bit challenging due to the newness of the Enterprise platform and hierarchies functionality. However, Totango's team is made up of rock star customer success managers and customer success engineers that were able to assist with working through nearly every challenge we came across.

Salesforce is out of the box, therefore pretty easy. For our internal system usage, we hit a roadblock when we started validating the privacy of the individual information stored on Totango. We are currently anonymizing the data to make it work.

Depends greatly on the product. Integrations that we are running through Zapier work very smoothly and were easy to set up. The native Desk integration is very limited. We have been unable to find a JIRA integration solution that allows us to tie contract value to JIRA tickets or bug instances to account health in any real way.

Wish we had Totango a year ago- great product!

The depth of integration: we use Salesforce to tie accounts in our app to Salesforce accounts. Initial connection was easy with the help of Totango's onboarding team. We're able to even bring custom fields at the account level into Totango. But take note that currently Totango doesn't sync User data directly with Salesforce; instead, they use a third party workaround. That workaround is functional but it's not part of the direct integration.

I believe that Totango is great for established SaaS enterprises with high volume of users, but growing SaaS startups and early-stage SaaS businesses with reasonably small user base need more agile tools to get started. For companies a transparent onboarding and sales process supported with practical customer success tools is more important than scientific customer success intelligence. And hence integrating anything was not easy.

Salesforce integration is the main method for us currently to get usage (attributes) and organization data to Totango. Integration of accounts is a little clumsy requiring a third party intermediary (Dataloader.io is what they recommend). Zendesk integration is relatively straightforward.
