  • Their support staff are world- class; they are super valuable to a new user
  • The value structure of our purchase was just right for our company regarding numbers of trainees
  • Once you get trained on the system and develop some courses content, its user-friendly and quite intuitive
  • Everyone I have dealt with has been exceptional, from our account rep to support staff to the training staff. Again world-class
  • On several of the primary fields, it has a limited number of content, course or lessons listed on the screen as a default. I currently have roughly 85 new lessons in there and it only gives me 10-20 to look at. I have to reset the default to read "all". Then I can scroll through to find a lesson I still have work to do on. I have already shared this with their development department. They have always been very responsive to these suggestions so I am sure they will get this resolved.
  • They could stand to have more nationally known credit card processing companies available to work with. The ones they show are more regionally based and so having larger card processors like CardPointe and First Data would be helpful. I have already shared this with their development team. Again, they are a very responsive team and I am sure this can be easily resolved.

  • I would love to see Tovuti LMS add privacy measures that would confine visibility by course to allow more external partner participation.
  • While I appreciate the speed of response from the solution team, efficiency could be added by allowing quick video calls for identifying issues. It often takes a lot of effort to describe the issue, and it would be a quicker process to be able to show the problem.

  • The package includes an extensive list of available features across a variety of learning types.
  • Admin interface is very cumbersome and hard to use.
  • The white-labeling abilities are limited but over-marketed.
  • Tovuti LMS nickel and dimes clients to death. So many things come to light as a 'custom' or 'for-free' add-on after the contract is signed.

  • Design is easy, no need to have web developer experience
  • Reporting and analytics are very thorough and detailed, always able to see what someone has done and when.
  • I'd like to see more functionality within the design, able to change things that are hard-coded to different colors or sizes which you can't change right now.
  • The prebuilt content could be more affordable, $20,000 a year isn't worth it if you aren't going to use every single piece of content.
  • I would like to be able to have people click on links and have a new window pop up, it keeps the link in the same window and the learner struggles to get back to Tovuti LMS.

  • Some of the features are not customizable, as advertised, for example, embellishments on videos to make them interactive. There are a few areas where styling is difficult.
  • The documentation is quite poor, it is not easy to find answers to more detailed questions.
  • Some of the features are a little non-intuitive and not consistent, so it is often hard to remember or understand the thinking behind them. For example, "Events" are under "Community" in the menus. The difference between "portal", "landing page" and "dashboard" could be more consistently defined.

  • Workflow isn't very efficient. I wish you could create your own commonly used sections and place them on some kind of page that did a step 1 - 2- 3 kind of thing. It would save having 10 tabs open

  • Events: When using the child element in events, updating the parent event will erase all of the child's events information. Always have those child events open in a tab before saving the parent.

  • Support: The amount of support I've received as an admin of the system is amazing! This is the 4th LMS system I've used. I've never had such a high level of support!
  • Content Creation: I don't need a multitude of programs to upload to Tovuti LMS. I'm easily able to use the system or create a PowerPoint for my needs. This has saved our non-profit organization a ton of money!
  • User Friendly: Tovuti LMS is user-friendly, not only for me but also for our users! Once in the system, our users find navigation simple.
  • We desperately want (and need) to put parameters on usernames. We want to use email addresses. Having this be a system "requirement" as an option for admins to choose is on my high-priority list of needs.
  • The ability to click and drag to reorder the layout and courses would be helpful. I spent a solid hour just yesterday reordering our media list so the oldest items were at the bottom instead of the top.
  • Having an archive for courses, lessons, etc. no longer being used would be super helpful. Having to sort through all the "unpublished" items can take a ton of time.

  • During virtual events, groups can be divided into multiple virtual teams and then return to the original group.
  • Sometimes there are delays in compiling the course completion status and reflecting changes.
  • To use Tovuti LMS, you need a stable internet connection.
  • For an informed data visualization, the analytics dashboard can be expanded a bit.
  • It would be amazing if they added the ability to track the progress of all students without requiring a single admin login.

  • Easy to use. It's intuitive and support documentation is very good.
  • Polished UI.
  • Interactive sections can be added to learning materials (such as a quiz midway through the video) making for a more fun experience.
  • Landing pages are VERY customizable. We were able to design them to look very integrated with our current website.
  • Small automation such as sending certificates, awarding badges etc. help to save admin time, no more micro managing users.
  • Feature requests. It would be great if they had feature request tracking or at least have a getsatisfaction forum.
  • Pricing packages. I wish you could pick and choose because we didn't need all features. They do offer a la carte but it is for additional options only.
  • Setup can be daunting with so much customization.
  • Bulk editing features would be great for large courses.

  • The backend is incredibly convoluted and confusing and requires many many hours of practice and coaching to learn to use it
  • It takes nine clicks to do something that should take two. There are several examples of this on the backend in terms of organizing lessons within a course, Assigning courses, getting reporting, Etc. It's all very convoluted.
  • You can't download files that you've uploaded into the system which doesn't make any sense

  • Tovuti provides a ton of interactive activity design capabilities - this is really important for the demographic we work with and allows for a variety of accommodations.
  • Tovuti's support and on-boarding teams are spectacular. My questions have always been confirmed and resolved within a 24-hour time period.
  • Tovuti is simple to use and direct in navigation, both on the user and administrator sides.
  • iFraming has always been an interesting feature to try out, but the design can be tricky. Allowing for my useable iFraming activities is always on my list.
  • Offering reporting/results on interactive videos is something I've been missing from the start. We use interactive videos to provide checkpoints of understanding, but there's no result section on the back end to review students' responses - only a numerical score is provided.
  • Toggling between personal dashboards and team lead dashboards is a great capability, but this opens a new tab. I'd rather everything stay within one tab and navigate through that!

  • Customization - we support internal and external users, the ability to have unique registrations fields for the different audiences is a game changer, the ability to build custom reports is helpful as well.
  • Interactive Content Tools - Love the ability to create interaction with users so it is not just text or videos they are looking at.
  • Ease of Use on End User Side - It's not tricky, all levels of tech savvy users can find success as learners!
  • Remove the Discussion feature on the courses.
  • Don't require the "Click Completed to officially finish the course" make it so once the participant completes all activities it is automatically completed. The manual aspect of this is tricky.
  • Allow end users to see their submitted responses to quizzes, surveys, and other interactive content tools. They may want to go back and review what they have learned!

  • The virtual classroom should have a feature where participants can wait in a waiting room instead of being let in instantly.

  • Content management - Gives us a central location to store assets and organize them. In the past individual training writers tended to organize assets for their courses on our network in whatever method suited them.
  • Import of PowerPoint - I don't believe in PowerPoint page turners, but many of our legacy assets are in PowerPoint, so being able to import them seamlessly has been a great benefit for getting our legacy assets into the system.
  • Branded Learning - We have multiple B2B clients and many learning management systems that we've worked with in the past required a lot of customer work to give them the correct look and feel for each client. Tovuti has made this go very smooth.
  • eLearning development - Remote classroom and interactive eLearning are NOT the same thing but it seems most LMS's are heavily influenced by K12 needs rather than private industry training needs. There is always room for improvement in this area to push level 2 and 3 interactions.
  • Project management integration - Again, coming from the B2B private industry area each course is also a "project" that needs to be management. Integrating basic PM tools into the LMS would help us eliminate the need for a separate PM tool.
