  • It's been positive in the sense that it has blocked some malicious email that would have otherwise made it to our users.
  • It has been negative in the sense that we spend a higher-than-expected number of cycles dealing with false positives.
  • Another negative is that we also experience false negatives.

  • The cost of FireEye ES is more than we were paying for our Baracuda Spam filter, but we seem to get much less spam and or false blocks so time is saved in not having to deal with those issues.
  • The primary focus was to continue spam blocking but add a much more robust security layer. The security seems to work well and with the state of phishing/malware attacks, the service is like solid gold. We have many known attacks repelled daily.
