  • Allows us to control threats which can mean less wide-spread virus issues
  • Allowed the service desk to make sure a computer is safe and up to date before adding it back to the domain. This saves the onsite team time because we can check on this remotely.
  • Using this product allows us to better manage all of the machines on and off the network.

  • When a new virus comes into existence it fails in updating its signatures. It really takes long time to get updated if we want to add on our own, because if we rely on McAfee it may detect and delete and if it doesn't, then systems are at huge risk which impacts business reputation.
  • McAfee need to optimize its CPU utilization as it makes users suffer in performing other jobs and this indirectly affects business if it is a high priority machine.
  • McAfee is very easy in deploying which doesn't use much resource time in deploying across hundreds of machines globally.

  • As with most things the price of products goes up and more-so if your business is growing.
  • We've been able to provide auditors with tangible evidence that our network is protected because of the reporting McAfee ePO provides. Auditors like McAfee because it's been around almost forever and is a mature product.
  • Being a mature product, though, it's very much set in the way it does things and as such there's not a whole lot of innovation.

  • Gained back time by having ePO deploy all the necessary products to the endpoints
  • Better managed environment by seeing which endpoints were not receiving updates and being able to get them up to date.
  • Had a little bit of a learning curve to get everything working properly.
  • Ability to report on anything that is going on in the environment.
