TriNet is super responsive. We have a dedicated support specialist who always responds in a timely manner and provides resources, tips, and support when needed. There have been times in which I was less than impressed with their service, but overall, the positive interactions outweigh any negative interactions.

The support is hit or miss. Basic questions can be rapidly answered, but certain things seem to require a specialist that can have quite a lag time from the time a case is opened to reply and even more so to completion. Multiple times a transfer to a different agent is required. It can be frustrating and difficult, especially for a small company needing more immediate results.

TriNet has an incredible amount of resources and information available to help support small businesses. The accessibility of support is a challenge and a point of frustration for me. Their chat feature is convenient but it typically comes with being transferred several times (usually with incorrect transfers). When I've contacted for support, it often takes several follow ups to reach someone and to have full answers to the issue/need at hand.

It could be better. Representatives who are assigned to manage your account from a general HR and payroll standpoint are generally junior-level in experience. Therefore, it can take time to sort out issues that are more complex in nature.

Payroll support is great; thank you. LOA support is thorough too. Chat support is also a great tool and the response is instantaneous most of the time for standard questions. It might get tricky and being transferred from one rep to another when the case is more complicated, this is where we need more direct support.

The reps I have worked with have generally been very nice and very understanding, but they also seem to have limited knowledge of what is possible and limited ability to really DO anything to assist.

Whenever I had questions I would email or call and ask, say for instance when figuring out an employee's final check when termination of employment. Customer support has assisted in the way they process each day's pay. Trinet has helped with the HR processes by having self onboarding and the handbooks they have in the system are basic and we can add our own supplemental processes like how vacation hours are accumulated.

TriNet has fantastic chat support, phone support, and also a dedicated agent via email. All are synchronized on the backend and knowledgeable on HR, Payroll, Platform best practices, as well as our specific company details. Support is very accessible to employees as well, and allows me to direct them there to alleviate HR inquiry burden.

I contacted support for help with a benefits question (I always contact support as a last-ditch effort after checking every document and link I can find). I checked FAQs before contacting them, and they were unable to give a helpful answer.

Very poor. Any tax questions take weeks to get answered. Any other questions take days.....and sometimes never unless a follow up email is sent to a manager. Chat is pointless - even the simplest of questions require a case number for someone else to answer.

Support has been very responsive when I ask for assistance on almost anything. I have presented numerous problems to TriNet, and they have been quick to respond to guide me to the appropriate solution. However, sometimes the solutions that require help on their side, it often tasks quite a while to be completed.

For the most part, customer service has been great to work with. They are quick to respond, answer any questions, and fix issues presented to them. If any changes are made to the system, they let you know in advance and also provide a walk through option when you login to the website.

TriNet assigns a contact person, our contact person is very responsive and answers emails rather quickly. Sometimes they might not have the answer, but they will reach out to the correct department for me and get me the answers needed. One example is when we are getting ready to let go of an employee. That process has some time sensitive deadlines - Trinet has managed to guide me though without having to pay fees.
