BMC's TrueSight Automation for Servers (formerly under the BladeLogic Automation Suite) is a server lifecycle automation application supporting configuration, patching and maintaining physical, cloud and virtual servers.

The Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (acquired by Red Hat in 2015) is a foundation for building and operating automation across an organization. The platform includes tools needed to implement enterprise-wide automation, and can automate resource provisioning, and IT environments and configuration of systems and devices. It can be used in a CI/CD process to provision the target environment and to then deploy the application on it.

BladeLogic Automation is used in my department to backup all of my network devices that include CISCO, F5, and BlueCoat, etc.

The backup process is simple and easy to learn and change.
It has the ability to manage multiple platforms.
It also can push configures to multiple devices at once.

It would easier for users if there are more report templates.
The dashboard can be improved as well.
Otherwise, I am pretty happy with the tools.
