We use TrustRadius to help generate high-quality reviews and have their intent data feed into our ABM platform, Demandbase, via their integration.
  • Robust Review capabilities.
  • Good Intent Data for product categories for Account Based Marketing.
  • You'll have to consider how many questions you should ask - and pay attention if the drop off rate is unusually high.
TrustRadius is best for getting reviews from reference-able customers that be leveraged both for content and customer marketing campaigns. Their audience of prospective customers can be later targeted via their ABM integrations.
The primary advantage of the rigorous reviews is that we can now leverage them to use as collateral in marketing campaigns. The content quality was much better than the ones we get from other review platforms.

You probably look at 15 Yelp reviews to decide where to order from. You trust Yelp because they are authentic reviews, not BS. That is TrustRadius, authentic reviews.

We are using TrustRadius to further our customer's voices around our product. At IBM, we like our customers to do the talking. With TrustRadius, we are able to give our clients a voice to discuss how IBM Process Mining has helped their operations processes and source net new feedback on how we can improve our product. With this, we can gain a competitive advantage using our own client's voices, while also turning their reviews into successful review stories. Lastly, we are able to source leads from TrustRadius and deliver them to Sales to nurture that relationship. We have been able to source both honest feedback, further our advocacy programs, and ultimately deliver top-of-funnel leads to sales.

We strive for service excellence in what we do. The TrustRadius platform is being used as one of the means to gain insights in customer feedback and experience of our global customers so we can both learn and grow our software and services. Customer reviews are also important to us for our business growth. The platform can provide widgets we use to share customer quotes and experience on our website as external third-party proof.
  • Honest feedback platform! Not just "the good". This provides proper insight for customers who are evaluating options or selection shortlists.
  • Dedicated CSM services to help you get more out of the platform and increase the number of reviews.

  • Posting a review can be time consuming which sometimes works as an obstacle to finish the review. Full reviews which are completed do offer more insights to interested parties.

Well suited for: Companies who can benefit from more online social proof and public customer experiences. Third-party proof via customer reviews has a considerable higher "Trust"-rate. This can be way more powerful than internal marketing efforts so it's an easy business case. Customer experience driven organizations with dedicated people. The TrustRadius platform can help you grow your business and also provide insights in customer experiences and comparisons which can be used to improve on.
Less appropriate for companies who do not have focus or dedication for customer feedback and experience. If you are not willing to invest or act on customer reviews and insights this might not be the platform for you.
So far the quality of the content has been good. It has provided us with insights in our product and service levels and has also been used to improve the odd situation at customers who should have had a better experience to start with that shared possible improvements in the review and were also open to follow up on that experience directly.
Custom questions have helped us get extra insights on topics that we perceive as differentiating. The results prove whether or not our customers or users perceive this as differentiating as well.

TrustRadius for Vendors has been instrumental in giving a voice to our customers. Their reviews give us product/service insights and tell us what we should keep doing vs what needs to be adjusted. We also leverage the badges, like "Top-Rated", for marketing. We are also diving into using intent data through our integration with TrustRadius and Salesforce.

TrustRadius for Vendors has helped us improve landing page conversion rates and organic traffic through the syndication of TrustQuotes. Additionally, the Chrome Extension is an amazing tool for our sales and marketing teams to easily implement real customer feedback into our promotional copy. TrustRadius' intent data, while dependent on the category which you purchase it for, is a solid source of supplemental intent data for Enterprise ABM campaigns. Last, but not least, their customer review generation teams are awesome and have helped us drive nearly 100 authoritative reviews in just 9 months. Overall, these offerings have helped round out our digital presence, especially when it comes to driving consideration with in-market buyers.

TrustRadius for Vendors is well suited for helping companies build their digital presence. TrustRadius helps to round out a company's digital presence while building authority and trust with in-market buyers. TrustRadius for Vendors is a strategic investment - one that pays dividends over time vs. creating immediate ROI. TrustRadius for Vendors is less appropriate for organizations looking for something that's a pure PPC/PPL platform. Smaller organizations that require immediate ROI will find that this vendor's offerings don't align with their budgeting and planning style.
Custom questions have allowed us to give our salespeople a clear way to sort our customer feedback by our key differentiators. This is helpful because our sales team is always focused on competitor conquesting campaigns, and sharing how our customers are proving out our key differentiators and "making it real" helps build trust with prospects.

I have user experience with around 30 review platforms similar to TrustRradius. TrustRadius for Vendors is obviously doing their homework very well. The customer feedback we are getting with the help of TrustRadius always has tons of curious material and helpful insights for our developers. What we are getting from TrustRadius for Vendors is then used by both development/product teams as well as in marketing.

If you are working in Marketing, Sales, and or Reputation Management, and you are already familiar with such sites as G2, Gartner, Capterra, Trustpilot (the list goes on) -- TrustRadius for Vendors is surely something to consider! It is a solid alternative with very little audience overlap. The pricing policy is quite reasonable. TrustRadius for Vendors is a useful tool for ANY rapidly developing product, in any market segment.
Custom Questions by TrustRadius is yet another proof that developers are building something with their own ideas in mind -- and then customers are using software for something entirely different. With the help of TrusRradius for Vendors, we are now receiving TONS of useful, truly original information, which comes directly from our customers. This helps us grow in the right direction.

We use TrustRadius for Vendors to get feedback from our customers. We wanted to provide customers with a way to honestly review the product and give constructive feedback. We also wanted a way for future customers to see how other customers use our product. TrustRadius has succeeded in helping us achieve both goals.

  • Sometimes, TrustRadius for Vendors sends out solicitations for reviews of your product, but you have no way to verify these reviewers are/were actually your customers. We've had a few, who we can't trace to having been customers, so it's been a little puzzling.
  • The vendor portal can be tricky to navigate.
TrustRadius for Vendors is a great way for our company to get important feedback from customers. Using a third-party helps to obtain true, unbiased feedback. We use this feedback to learn, grow, and showcase success. It's a great way for future customers to understand how our product will help them, based on the real experiences of other customers.
We have been able to collect quotes for specific product uses verticals, types, and sizes of customers. The voice of customers helps us differentiate in a crowded market. We get great feedback about the customer experience through our reviews.

We use TrustRadius for Vendors to source reviews for our different software products. We then use the reviews to help sell our product to others, show our market presence, track competitors and use the feedback to improve our sales, support, and success teams. Marketing uses some of the quotes/widgets on our website, and we also are able to better identify future references and happy clients to work with further.

The platform is easy to use and doesn't require more than a couple of quick meetings to get rolling. This is a valuable tool for several different organizational teams (marketing, support, success, etc.) and is a good way for clients to communicate and share their thoughts with us.
Customers are able to highlight specific areas of our product that they enjoy, and give us ideas for improvement on things they don't care for. This allows potential customers to see the pros and cons from somebody other than a sales representative and helps them make a more unbiased decision. We also get new ideas for use cases based on some of the things clients share.

TrustRadius for Vendors is very well suited for companies looking to hear feedback directly from their users from a third-party source. Using a third-party for review sourcing helps the review process feel very impartial since we are not overseeing the review or interviewing people ourselves. Companies will benefit from the great assets TrustRadius reviews can produce.
TrustRadius reviews go deeper than other review sites that simply ask for a rating, but do not take the important next step of asking WHY. There may be review sites that provide more in-depth or longer reviews, but usually, that requires a phone call, which is a more difficult ask of people being reviewed. TrustRadius is a great sweet spot of information produced and the effort needed to get a review.
Custom Questions help ensure we get feedback on what's important to us, whether it's a specific product or use case. This is especially useful if we are planning campaigns around certain areas as we'll receive content we can then use as part of the campaign.

We are using TrustRadius to solicit reviews of our various products. We work with the customer success team to design appropriate questions, acquire reviews from users, tag and categorize responses and get those reviews published on TrustRadius and in other areas (such as our own website). We will be helping to support our SEO strategy and allow prospects to make educated buying decisions.

  • So far, I cannot think of any suggestions for improvement.
Any technology vendor of size or scale who wants to have real feedback from real users so that prospects can make well-informed decisions.

If you are a smaller firm with a small customer base or have a lot of large competitors, it will be more challenging for you. But if you've got a great product and raving fan customers, TrustRadius can benefit your organization.
TrustRadius does gather a good deal of information for customers. This is great for having reviews that are in-depth and specific. It does sometimes make it challenging to get customers to complete the entire survey given the length. There are pros and cons of any system.
The custom questions does allow our users to comment on areas of differentiation. It's a very nice feature that we enjoy.

We use TrustRadius for Vendors to help us with product reviews for specific SAP solutions. This is used to augment our customer reference program. With TrustRadius for Vendors you get reviews from customers and partners with whom you might not otherwise be engaged. We use the reviews for direct input for our product management team, as well as to demonstrate our strengths on our corporate website as well as with our global sales team. The reviews give us unique insight from individuals at companies. Many times when doing formal customer reviews we don't always connect directly with those using the software on a day-to-day basis. With TrustRadius for Vendors you have access to the direct users of our software. Working with the colleagues at TrustRadius for Vendors is very easy and they are a pleasure to work with.

It is very helpful how the reviews focus on key capabilities and differentiators. I really like how you can provide categories, custom questions, and the ability to get right at the information you need from your reviewers.
The custom questions and quotes are extremely useful. Being able to reuse the quote directly is one of the reasons why we stay with TrustRadius for Vendors. The fact that we can use the quote on our website, with a sales rep, and the compliance and GDPR requirements are covered, is really excellent! The custom questions and quotes are a huge asset to using TrustRadius for Vendors.

We use the TrustRadius for Vendors platform to secure additional and independent customer proof points, quotes, use cases and stories. It gives us that extra credibility beyond our company's customer reference platform.

TrustRadius for Vendors is well suited to provide an independent view into your company's products and services. Due to a large amount of anonymous feedback, it may be less appropriate if you require specific company logos and contacts as references.
The reviews that we have received have been amazingly thorough - not only are we getting review content across the product and related services, but we are also getting feedback into areas for improvement.
Due to the ability to customize our questions and areas of focus, we have gotten more direct customer quotes on areas of our solutions that we consider differentiators as well as areas where we need help in positioning against the competition.

Star Rating Widget: Our business requirements were to have a better presence when customers were searching for solutions utilizing the Google Search Engine. As we already had optimized SEO, we wanted a way to make our product stand out in comparison to our competitors. TrustRadius provide us with the ability to pull our star rating via API; allowing us to present our rating in search results. This drove more organic traffic to our products and raised brand awareness. Customer Reviews: Throughout our site, we've leveraged the TrustRadius API to pull customer reviews on our pages to provide customers with up-to-date and recent reviews. This also reduced manual updates that our DEV team were performing on a monthly cadence; allowing them to focus on more important initiatives.

With custom questions, we've received more direct answers to the specifics business questions we'd like to hear from the customer on, allowing us to apply laser focus on the overall customer experience.

We partner with TrustRadius to generate online reviews to get feedback from our users that we rely on for product improvement planning. We also leverage our TrustRadius ratings, awards, and online reviews in marketing (including website, email campaigns, social media, etc etc). Lastly, we use TrustRadius intent data in retargeting.
  • Great content - the reviews are rich with useful feedback from our users.
  • Responsive and friendly consultants - they answer my questions quickly or quickly let me know they are working to find answers for me.
  • They are constantly improving and listen to our feedback.
  • SEO - TrustRadius reviews do not appear on Google searches like other review platforms do.
  • Vendor portal usability wish there was a way to search across all reviews by key word. Wish there was a way to more efficiently copy and paste portions of reviews into our marketing materials that would include user information and star rating.
TrustRadius is well suited for obtaining and responding to customer/client reviews.
The review content has been incredible and very valuable to us! The TrustRadius format and custom questions have prompted excellent feedback regarding what our clients love about DISCO and what we can work on to get them to love us even more.
Custom questions have resulted in the content we need. Our product development team and our marketing team have both found this content extremely valuable. Additionally and more particularly, the question about services has been great for our services team morale and the competitor question has been so fun for company morale.

We're using TrustRadius to actively drive reviews and increase awareness of one of our eCommerce/Enterprise products. It's been a fantastic experience working with the TrustRadius team, and the reviews and customer feedback we've been receiving have made a positive impact to our marketing and sales, as well as providing valuable insight to our product management team.

Although we can't directly attribute revenue to TrustRadius, since there are no direct links from trustradius.com to our site or landing pages, our rapid pace up the review search results and growth in pageview share (from near zero to nearly 50% in about 6 months) has coincided with growth in our unattributed product revenue.

  • Custom questions for prospects and us to learn more about how customers use the product and how it's benefitted them.
  • Cons and insights from customers are excellent feedback for the product team on how to evolve the product.
  • Easy to manage, tag, and filter reviews into usable quotes in the web widgets, as well as for us to use in our email marketing.
  • Insights into large accounts researching our products and our competitors.
  • Sometimes it's unclear what's part of our package vs. the next level of offering - instead of sending us to "talk to sales", a page or even popup that shows what's the next level would be nice to see without having to spend time on a sales call.
  • There's a lot to learn during onboarding - tagging was very high level, a cheat sheet with tips would've been very helpful. I didn't realize until after tagging dozens of reviews that there was a better way for tagging for sorting and filtering, and I don't have time to go back and undo everything.
  • There have been a few occasions where our web widgets would go blank and show no data, even though no changes were made to the code or to the widget filters.
I've recommended TrustRadius to other marketing colleagues who focus on other products. Their concerns are if enterprise prospects use TrustRadius more, or if they prefer G2, Capterra/Gartner, etc. I don't know the answer to that question, but I'd assume the TrustRadius sales team would have the data to show the demographics of their users.

Our struggle is this product serves millions of consumers and SMB's, while the Enterprise version serves a much smaller number of customers. To collect reviews, we send out thousands of email requests to get a relatively small number of reviews, even with incentives. It's not as easy to do so with Enterprise customers, especially since our sales team does not have direct relationships with end users of the product.
Overall the quality of reviews has been fantastic. Most average 300 words or more. Some come in very basic, around 150, but I can let our Account manager know, and it'll get sent back to the reviewer to add some more insights and substance to it.

We also get reviews on other platforms, but don't have the control that we do here, and the depth and quality of reviews isn't as solid in general.
Custom questions have been helpful. We ask our customers how our product compares with competitors and what makes our offering better. We also ask some simple customer satisfaction questions like if they're happy with the features, and would they buy again.

These are a combination of helping to sell our prospects, as well as us learning more about our customers, and if there's anything about the product that we can add to our roadmap that needs to be built or improved.

In addition to simply driving reviews and awareness of our products and services, we use TrustRadius to identify customers who would be interested in participating in marketing and sales initiatives.

  • The option for customers to raise their hands if they're interested in doing more with us.
  • Lack of/delayed communication from TrustRadius account managers.
The platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it convenient for us to manage and review metrics and customer reviews. TrustRadius also allows us to easily identify customers who are interested in doing more. The only negative has been our experience with the account managers - getting in touch with them in a timely manner can be very difficult.
It depends on the customer leaving the review, but the reviews are generally substantial and more in-depth than many other review sites.
