We use TrustRadius for a variety of purposes ranging from generating high quality and relevant customer content to analyzing the market for key competitive trends and enhancing our demand generation efforts. It also provides us an avenue to provide our customers with an opportunity to provide unbiased feedback on the value we deliver.

  • Partnership: TrustRadius has been a great partner in generating high quality reviews of our platform. They have shown a willingness to work with us and genuine interest in helping us achieve our goals. This is definitely a differentiator in this industry.
  • Content Quality: Hands-down, the best content in the industry. On other sites, reviews may be a few sentences long and focused primarily on attribute ratings instead of content. While quantitative data is good, the value of these sites is unbiased customer-generated REVIEWS. The content generated is relevant to our customers and prospects as well as the industry as a whole.
  • Admin Functionality: I am constantly using the admin portal to check for new reviews, find relevant quotes for our marketing and sales collateral and checking for new reference candidates. It is great to have this all in one place. While there are some functionality opportunities, overall, they provide what I need to manage and scale our presence on TrustRadius.
  • Survey Customizations: We love that we can collaborate on the survey questions regarding our platform. Often, these questions are created by "analysts" that don't have direct industry experience. While there are obviously standard questions that should be asked, having the ability to customize questions specific to our customers' experience has generated better reviews than on other sites.
  • Performance Analytics: On both the review management and TQSF fronts, the analytics are lacking. We would love to know how often our various reviews are being visited which could inform our overall promotional strategy. Regarding TQSF, while there is a lot of value here and the functionality was great, there is little in terms of analytics that show true value.
  • Feedback Implementation: We consistently provide feedback to the TR team regarding the platform, its capabilities and what we feel would drive additional value from our investments. These recommendations seem to be heard, but we constantly hear, "We are focused on other areas." Fair enough, but would be nice to know that our feedback is being implemented.
  • Industry Presence: TrustRadius has an opportunity around it's brand awareness. While this takes time to establish as the platform scales its reviews, other sites have dominated the mindshare of those seeking to leverage these types of sites.
  • Site Traffic: Traditionally, customer review sites have been geared toward the SMB segment. While we are seeing enterprise traffic increase to the site, it is still not generating high volume, organic enterprise traffic.
TrustRadius seems to be well suited for a variety of use cases, but it would really depend upon what you are looking to accomplish with your overall customer review site strategy.

If your focus is on generating enterprise-grade content, TrustRadius is well suited. However, if you're focused on enterprise leads, then you'll be hard-pressed. This is something that is true across this industry.

If you're primarily focused on the SMB markets, then the site is extremely well suited from both a content generation and leads identification perspective.

Overall, if you're looking to grow your awareness and presence while gaining invaluable third-party validations, TrustRadius is well suited.

We use TrustRadius as a platform to drive and share our customer's voice. There is a wealth of great customer reviews that organizations draw from to help make buying decisions. The reviews range from competitive information, product insights, and support proof points all used in demand gen channels for social, newsletters, slides, and more. Importantly, TrustRadius also provides us a way for reviewers to opt-in to our reference program--a critical element in accelerating the sales cycle.

  • Need to have stronger support for retargeting
  • Wish TrustRadius had a more developed platform for integrating buyer intent into 3rd party platforms
Well suited for organizing customer quotes/proof points by customer's hierarchy. Good tool for exporting quotes into emails for demand generation use. It is really helpful to have a great customer advocate to help support my program and give ideas to develop content and new assets.
I would like more out of demand gen tools/retargeting--it would be good to have AdRoll.

TrustRadius has helped Kustomer dive deeper into the things customers love (or may not love) about our platform. From there we can capitalize on those positive trends and aim to flag the negatives. In addition, it enables our sales team with new use cases that we might not have had otherwise.
  • Custom questions - really beneficial to gain the insight we want.
  • Widgets.
  • Usability - the interface takes some getting used to.
TrustRadius is an absolute must if you want those deeper insights into what your customers really value in your product. It's so valuable to ask specific questions and to get honest, informative answers.

We use TrustRadius (TR) to manage our peer review program. It feeds data into our competitive intelligence and intent teams, as well as content into our Voice of Customer and content teams. We leverage it to improve our presence on TrustRadius sites that we manage and feed the reviewers that opt-in to the reference program into our customer advocacy program as well. Review stats are ones that we review quarterly as see as a direct reflection of what customers think of our products.
  • My CSM is amazing!
  • The data is a bottomless well of resources and insights.
  • I'd love to see more traffic on the actual TrustRadius pages.
  • The content offerings seems undeveloped.
TrustRadius is well suited for large companies that are trying to manage and track the reviews that are being written about their products.

It's not as well suited for those that don't have the budget to invest in all the offerings. It may end up not allowing them to hit goals and still be spending money anyways.

We are using the TrustRadius platform to generate reviews which can be used to provide customer proof points and testimonials to potential users. It can be difficult to capture customer feedback so this provides us with an additional way to do so. We also use the reviews on our website product pages to show unbiased feedback early in the buyer's journey.
  • Interface is easy to use, administer and manage.
  • Review sourcing and follow-up are all done by TrustRadius.
  • Syndication widget allows us to get unbiased reviews in front of our prospects early in the buyer's journey.
  • Ability to customize the TrustQuotes for Web widget
  • Better pricing model when adding a second product
Great for collecting and publishing real customer reviews and feedback. Provides an easy way to get unbiased reviews on your website via the TrustQuotes for Web widget. Excellent way to influence prospects early in their buying journey. Best for companies with a steady stream of new customers who can leave reviews and who can easily identify/provide contact information for their customers.

We are using TrustRadius to gain trust from our potential customers as they can see reviews from similar organizations in the same industry. TrustRadius has enabled us to take a targeted approach in finding enterprise customers. We can display relevant reviews in marketing material that we show them. We have seen success using TrustRadius reviews in ABM ads, email campaigns, and retargeting.
  • Great customer service
  • Easy to organize current reviews by industry and customer type
  • It's expensive to differentiate our product offerings even though they are similar/overlapping
  • It can be difficult to get traffic to the reviews
TrustRadius is great for getting insight into a specific vertical of customers. For example, we work with a variety of nonprofits. With TrustRadius reviews, we can dial into specific types of nonprofits, say organizations that help with homelessness. We can then use those reviews to target potential customers that are homelessness organizations and gain their trust by showing positive reviews from similar nonprofits.

When we first started using TrustRadius, I couldn't even imagine, in how many ways this platform would be valuable to us!

First of all, of course, it's a great place to gather reviews. We have set up several campaigns with TrustRadius and on our own to encourage our customers to leave their feedback about the product. Secondly, we started leveraging our review content. The way questions are structured helps our customers to provide their feedback as detailed and comprehensive as possible. So, as a result, we have many long "on point" reviews, which are ready-to-become customer success stories on our site and great and catchy review quotes.

And the last, but not least, TrustRadius helps us to better understand our target audience, their needs and reach new audiences.
  • Custom questions. We worked closely with the TrustRadius team to compile questions, that would help us to get as many detailed replies as possible.
  • Quotes for Web widget. Ready-to-use script with some CSS enchantments available.
  • "Visitor insights". This dashboard helps us to check and analyze what our potential customers/companies are looking for.
  • Support. We enjoy working with the team behind TrustRadius. They are always here to help if we get questions (in most cases not the easiest ones) and bring our projects to life.
  • Review tagging system. Very flexible way to cherry-pick reviews to put on site.
  • Can't search reviews by specific keywords (competitor or program mention, for example).
  • Can't import data from external files. For example, we had a huge list of custom tags, and we had to add each tag manually, which is time consuming.
  • General UI/UX tweaks for review processing needed. For example, when one review is processed, there is a need to go back to Review list to process another.
We are highly satisfied with the platform. It's well recognized and has good reputation among users, our customers are always eager to share their quality opinion here. As the number of reviews grows, we started to notice that there are more and more visitors on our product page, coming from competitors' pages.

I can't imagine a scenario, where getting good content to leverage might be "less appropriate". Even the policy of TrustRadius to publish EVERY review is great - sometimes we get negative feedback, which is a really valuable source of information on where we can do better, and people who read those reviews can feel that this product is alive and is constantly improving.

We use TrustRadius to help us understand how customers perceive our products, to collect feedback on features and the end-to-end customer experience (including support), and to promote our products as technology buyers are searching for solutions to help them do their jobs better.
  • Proactive account management: Our account manager is constantly looking for ways that we can make the most of the platform, including integrating TrustRadius with Salesforce.
  • TrustRadius does a great job with optimizing search results so that B2B buyers find our company's reviews when researching product information.
  • TrustRadius provides graphic comparison tools that we can forward to our prospects, letting them know from an independent, trusted source how we compare to our competitors.
  • Although TrustRadius has some good tools for integrating customer quotes with Salesforce, we're always looking for easier and easier ways to get our sales team more engaged with using these glowing reviews during their sales process.
TrustRadius is particularly useful when a company is competing against 3-4 other companies with similar offerings: Having great reviews that provide details about your product capabilities, as well as customer support and the sales cycle, is important.

TrustRadius helps us generate reviews from our clients which allows us to collect feedback about our product and services. We're able to use review widgets on our website and emails to showcase our reviews to our clients and our sales consultants also leverage them during the sales process. Being able to filter reviews by employee size, industry, etc., gives us a clear picture of how different clients are viewing our company.

  • Searching for reviews by certain keywords isn't possible and makes it difficult when wanting to pull specific reviews.

We liked to put it on our Free Trial pages. It definitely got a lot of attention because we saw our conversions boost. We also used it on the product pages themselves. It didn't seem to do well on our landing pages for case studies, e-books, whitepapers, etc. But pages with the software details- it helped.

We use TrustRadius to collect product reviews of our services. We can see from the data that users will look at these reviews to help make their purchasing decision. TrustRadius is used by our Marketing team, specifically by our Brand and Content team members. We also share great reviews with our Sales team.
  • Easy to use.

  • TrustRadius is well known for being the place to go for product reviews in the space.
  • General challenge is getting more customer reviews.
TrustRadius is something that I've had featured on websites in the past because it is a trusted source, and the stars look good at a glance to reinforce the brand. It's great for gaining reviews, but we use a different tool to conduct surveys of customers. TrustRadius is a tool used by multiple marketers on our team and is something I'd definitely recommend to colleagues outside the company.

We are using TrustRadius to collect unbiased user reviews and customer feedback. This allows us to gauge customer satisfaction in a way that is approachable for our customers -- giving them the flexibility to share what they want to in an anonymized format, if they are more comfortable doing so. We then use these reviews on our landing pages and website to give prospects visibility into what real-life customers are saying about our business. They don't have to just take our word for it, our customers tell the story.
  • Review widget gives us the ability to embed customer reviews on our website, landing pages and more. This allows us to use our reviews in multiple channels and maximizes our investment in the program.
  • Review capture is easy. TrustRadius makes it simple to gather customer reviews. We provided a list (under NDA) and the outreach was done. They also helped us incentivize customers and share why their review would be so helpful.
  • Customer success is great. Our CSM, Ryan is always giving us proactive tips, connecting us with the right people and helping get everything set up and running well. We really appreciate having someone to go to when we have questions.
  • It would be nice to give reviewers a reason/incentive for leaving a complete or well-rounded review.
  • Data & reporting - would love to use the data in our reporting, but it's pretty bare bones.
  • The sales process can be a little confusing as the pricing seems variable. At one point, I was asked what I would pay for the service and that seemed like a backwards way to do business.
If you are looking for customer affirmation based on third-party reviews, this is a great place to do it. TrustRadius has a competitive offering that allows flexibility that some of the other review vendors do not provide. I also really appreciate that they are innovating and adding new solutions alongside their core product to offer more use cases to vendors. I would love to see more lead generation ideas come from TrustRadius and products that directly relate to how we can meet bottom of funnel buyers when/where they are looking for information.

  • TrustQuotes Web - although not currently in use, I love the fact that reviews can be curated on local websites providing a true/authentic interpretation of our offerings
  • Tagging Capabilities- this is an extremely powerful feature that allows vendors to tag reviews in multiple ways and then collect and collate this information in a clean and presentable manner.
  • Review Participation - having TrustRadius as a partner in obtaining reviews through campaigns or onsite (conferences)
  • Product Splitting - Some solutions span multiple offering areas as rarely do products these days accomplish just one thing. Would be great if a product could sit in multiple areas and questions for end users directed based on their primary use case.
  • The ability to source reviews onsite (conferences) beyond a LinkedIn authentication as most users submitting a real time review may not be aware of their LinkedIn authentication
It's well suited for an organization that has the flexibility to structure their product offerings around the ability to solicit reviews from end users. Many organizations have restrictions (rightfully so) on handing over customer emails, and also against "spamming" their customer base for reviews. However if your organization has the ability to be creative in getting reviews (the primary requirement for TrustRadius) it is well suited.

  • Strength of Content - the reviews are so valuable because of the questions asked and the insights garnered from the customers.
  • Partnership - I feel like the TrustRadius team is eager to hear how we are driving value back to our organization and how they can enhance that. The support we receive is always timely and in many cases pro-active.
  • Ease of Use - Elements of the service like the TrustQuotes for web take the content from being a great review and make it turnkey for driving impact. It's offerings like these that are huge for our teams.
  • Growth - As TrustRadius continues to grow it is important to grow in the right way and maintain that level of service and support back to the customers.
  • Innovation - Furthering efforts to develop the reviews to always drive value back to the organizations is a continual need. We want to see what is next and what more we can do.
  • Delivering Impact - The more data and insights that can be generated by the customers and pulled into reports and other formats will allow us to take the next step in leveraging the value TrustRadius provides.
TrustRadius is well suited for driving super valuable content. I see there being a time when someone can lean on the review left on TR instead of having to go out and interview their customers and generate a case study that only sits on their site. I love the ability to take one review and turn it into many pieces of content, this allows you to do more with every bit of feedback you get. I think the only place the offerings can do more is to spread influence and awareness, sometimes stakeholders know nothing of TrustRadius and we have to start from scratch in explaining the value, or they are familiar with other vendors and lean in that direction initially.

We partner with TrustRadius to execute review campaigns across our customer base, and then include those reviews as assets in PathFactory Content Tracks in our pre- and post- sales marketing programs. From an advocacy perspective, it helps me to hit my quarterly goals for identifying new customer advocates. The reviews are also helpful to our Demand Gen team as they nurture prospects through the funnel and our sales team uses them as an unbiased resource to address objections and educate prospects on the different use cases for our software.
  • The quality of the reviews is generally much higher than other sites.
  • How easy it is to run review campaigns.
  • We've had problems with a lot of anonymous reviews - while TrustRadius has offered advice for how to encourage customers to leave more reviews, there isn't much flexibility on the language/experience for the reviewer to try to foster more self-identification.
  • I wish TrustQuotes for Web had a little bit more flexibility to better fit with our brand look and feel.
The more customers you have, the more you'll get out of a partnership with TrustRadius. While our review campaigns usually generate good results, we're fairly limited in the number of campaigns we can run throughout the year because we risk exhausting our customer database. We're always trying to keep customer experience top of mind so there's only so many times we're willing to reach out to our community and ask them to review us. I believe that companies with a very large customer base would be able to do more segmentation and strategic planning around when to run campaigns to certain audiences.

  • Salesforce Integration - I love how we can quickly find quotes based on attribute tags.
  • Quote tagging with Conductor specific tags
  • I wish we had the ability to tag or filter by location, or country. Sometimes we'd like to have a specific EMEA result vs. a US result.
  • The search on the web version for quotes isn't nearly as easy as it is in the SFDC integration. I want to be able to filter down exactly as I do within Salesforce.
Well suited - To help manage a quote library for revenue generating teams. The tags make it easy to filter and find the specific use case quotes you're looking for.

Online reviews are a part of the standard process for customers who are making purchase decisions regarding the Lifesize solutions. We leverage TrustRadius to ensure that customers have current and relevant review data as part of that process. Internally it is used by myself in Customer Success as well as our marketing, product and executive teams.
  • Relationship: Customer Success and Account Management team are very proactive and highly engaged.
  • Review Capture & Campaign Management. Helping our team collect, capture and manage the reviews is very helpful.
  • Interface is easy to use and manage.
  • Categorization is complicated for our industry which is BOTH video conferencing AND hardware.
  • Anonymous reviews. I think that something should be done regarding anonymous, in particular low scoring reviews. I'm not sure what that might look like, a lower weight, reprioritizing visibility, refreshing on a shorter period. It is very limiting when a vendor is stuck with a low review that is not actionable. If the reviewer stands behind what they say they should put their name behind their feedback. If the reviewer does not provide their name then there is nothing the vendor can do to improve, follow up or correct.
  • Globalization. Our company is a global company with 50% of our business coming from outside of the US. I feel like TrustRadius is limited to being predominantly an American or English only tool.
The product is great for collecting, publishing and managing online reviews and for leveraging content. I wish we had more time and resources to really maximize all that the tool has to offer but at this time. I think I am only touching the surface of its capabilities.

We strive for service excellence in what we do. The TrustRadius platform is being used as one of the means to gain insights in customer feedback and experience of our global customers so we can both learn and grow our software and services. Customer reviews are also important to us for our business growth. The platform can provide widgets we use to share customer quotes and experience on our website as external third-party proof.
  • Honest feedback platform! Not just "the good". This provides proper insight for customers who are evaluating options or selection shortlists.
  • Dedicated CSM services to help you get more out of the platform and increase the number of reviews.
  • Review syndication.
  • Posting a review can be time consuming which sometimes works as an obstacle to finish the review. Full reviews which are completed do offer more insights to interested parties.
  • Can't think of anymore yet. We are still learning and growing in this process internally.
Well suited for:
  • Companies who can benefit from more online social proof and public customer experiences. Third-party proof via customer reviews has a considerable higher "Trust"-rate. This can be way more powerful than internal marketing efforts so it's an easy business case.
  • Customer experience driven organizations with dedicated people. The TrustRadius platform can help you grow your business and also provide insights in customer experiences and comparisons which can be used to improve on.
Less appropriate for companies who do not have focus or dedication for customer feedback and experience. If you are not willing to invest or act on customer reviews and insights this might not be the platform for you.

We are leveraging TrustRadius to see where we need to improve for our platform and customer experience.
  • The campaign was seamless.
  • Our CS rep is very accommodating and helpful in sharing campaign updates.
  • I wish the vendor portal had a more built-out reporting and metrics page. Not sure if we have to purchase those capabilities but it's difficult to always have to ask our CSM for these stats.
It's well-suited when targeting specific customers of certain segments.

At Cision we use TrustRadius for the gathering of ratings and reviews. Run by our Customer Marketing team, TrustRadius serves as a primary channel for obtaining enterprise level customer ratings and reviews to be used as references, speakers and general testimonials in our demand gen efforts.
  • Ease of use - once you're up and running it's easy to log on and see results.
  • Customer support and enablement - The team hosts weekly calls and quarterly progress reports with my team. This is HUGE for us.
  • Pricing model and auto renew (don't do it TR).
  • Customer service/success - This is a positive and a negative. We did have to push for the level of service that we get now. No complaints now but did have to push for it.
  • Understanding of the customer's needs. Our situation, like everyone's, is unique but in our time of transition it took a TON of conversations to get TR on the same page as us.
If used correctly, TrustRadius is a strong contributor to a robust demand gen strategy, specifically on the customer marketing side. Quotes, testimonials and sourcing speakers are all ingredients to a successful demand gen campaign and TrustRadius serves that up to us.

We use TrustRadius for boosting our online review presence to enable prospects with unbiased information during their research and buying process. We sell enterprise software to commercial construction contractors, and they are fairly reliant on peer reviews for making decisions about technology purchases. Product marketing, demand generation, customer advocacy and account management are the primary roles involved in updating content and getting new reviews.
  • User interface makes it easy for people to navigate the portal, find the solution they're looking for and post a review.
  • The integration with Influitive makes it extremely easy for us to source positive reviews from customers.
  • The review widgets are easy to host on our landing pages which adds real value to prospects evaluating software.
  • I think the only real area I have for improvement is around the category for construction. It's very limited to just one category, which doesn't account for many of the different offerings in construction software. As such, we are compared to solution providers that really don't offer the same service we do.
It's great for software vendors who are trying to get holistic reviews of their software given the number of questions they ask in the process.

The TrustRadius platform is used to generate reviews from our customers to support both our sales org and demand gen team. We also use the platform to see how we pair up with our competitors and leverage the buyer intent data for insights. This provides additional customer content such as quotes that we can use for customer references.
  • The user interface is very easy to use, whether that is acquiring or managing reviews or pulling reports
  • The TrustQuotes for Web is a great feature. We tied it into our sales enablement tool so our sales org could copy and paste quotes directly into their emails or decks.
  • More detailed reports and granular buyer intent data
TrustRadius is a great platform to source reviews and feedback from your customer base. Also, a great tool to see how you compare to your competitors within the space.

We are using TrustRadius to gather insightful feedback from our customers as well as providing useful information for buyers who are researching cloud products.
  • It provides our company in-depth information on how our customers are using our products, which we can use to educate our sales teams.
  • As our reviews and ratings count grows, we are better able to reach our customers with the answers and information they need, from end users just like them.
  • Our brand is able to move further into the consideration set of cloud providers due to a consistently increasing number of proof points from happy customers.
  • The backend data available should be expanded to show sourcing/campaign data (i.e. what tactics drove the reviews & ratings).
  • A ready-made tracking link creator would be useful to reduce potential error.
  • A ready-made list of tactics to deploy based on the strength of a brand's review presence would be helpful in getting a program up and running.
It is well suited for companies who:
  1. Want to influence the buying cycle
  2. Want to capture mind share
  3. Want to increase their relevancy in a given market
