IBM Turbonomic has helped us reduce our overall cost by almost thirty percent. As now we can manage our virtual machine and kubernetes with turbonomic, so if any virtual machine or kubernetes is free and not being used, we can easily close it which helps us cut cost.

We've reduced our cloud spend by over 25% and review our costs monthly at a senior level. We've been able to setup rules to automate the release or underutilized resources and build management reports to review usage.

We save time and resources , so yes we have saved on hardware costs as before if we had a application issues , we would just throw more infrastructructure at a issue or more servers or more ram etc. But we have now insights and recommendations of what the route cause is and makes the recommended changes to configurations IBM Turbonomic suggests.

The control of expenses in purchasing infrastructure is impressive, and also in more capacity in hybrid cloud environments; Turbonomic is software very capable of meeting the performance of infrastructure and cloud, I do not handle the financial numbers of the company's budget and expenses, but I can see that expenses have been reduced in the last three years.

I am not in charge of the financial expenses in the cloud, infrastructure, or in any other aspect of the acquisition of software for the work in the departments, but according to the satisfaction of the IT team, if the expenses have been reduced, but I do not handle the numbers exact details of the savings by using this robust software.

Automated platform corrective methods prevent and fix issues before they cause damage. This ensures that applications are available and run well without costly additional infrastructure and increasing productivity. Thus, we could begin a huge project and application deployment that had been delayed by equipment purchase.

By dynamically allocating resources based on the needs of each workload, IBM Turbonomic reduces resource wastage and improves resource utilization, which in turn can result in a significant reduction in cloud spend. The platform provides automated remediation actions that can prevent and resolve issues before they impact anything. This reduces downtime and increases productivity, ensuring that applications remain available and performant without the need for additional infrastructure purchases.

IBM Turbonomic has helped us save money on our IT infrastructure. It gave us an excellent notion of where we should actually spend and where we should drastically cut. The automated system can keep of all resource activities, provides trustworthy data, and gives us with a high-level perspective of our flowchart.

IBM Turbonomic has reduced the overall cost of our IT infrastructure. It offered us a good idea of where to spend money and where to cut back. The automated system monitors all resource workflows, generates reliable analysis, and provides us with an overview of our system flow.

I am aware that the Infrastructure costs and data centre refresh costs has gone down from significant amounts. But I am unable to provide exact numbers as I do not have access to such information. But the decision to continue using IBM Turbonomic was made due to these cost savings as a one reason out of many.

continuous monitoring of the public cloud workloads and the resources utilization make possible to produce detailed utilization and optimization report for the public cloud observer. Hidden costs and right public cloud resources for the right applications minimize public cloud usage in a fast way. Companies can easily use optimization items to less public cloud spend.

IBM Turbonomic has reduced the following -

1. Cost on Infrastructure.
2. Cost on Databases.
3. Cost on Operating Systems.
4. Cost on Maintaining Infra, Database, storage, backup etc.

Before cloud version and other products we had a bad experience with expanding database as the monitoring scope increases which was a big challenge and with this solution it just got solved.

If I talk about in terms of Dollars then there is no major difference because even when we have now less dependency on physical DC or their infrastructure but still we need skilled resources to manage the applications, like architects, developers and admins. But the headache we had previously to manage on-prem infrastructure, and maintain the databases on regular basis has been reduced to almost zero.

You need to justify the purchase of infrastructure in the Cloud on Premises based on data and statistics. The traditional approach is just to increase the memory size of the servers until the performance problem disappears. But the situation could reach a point where more physical resources are not helping. You need IBM Turbonomic to check that the problem is the bad use of the garbage collector of a JAVA application or the bad design of database indexes.

Yes by uniting applications and infrastructure teams where we gain a common understanding of how infrastructure impacts performance and bridge the gap between application and infrastructure teams.

As I have mentioned before we are saving a good amount of money from cloud expenses and virtual infrastructure costs. It's even more economical since we were using the IBM cloud suite already. By factoring out all possible server management issues, we cut down the average costs per server by good margins.
