This tool began to be used less than a year after a political campaign in my country. The free versión is being used and until now it had been successful and it has allowed us to see graphs of the followers and the evolution (prediction in the twitter account, within the limitations of the free version. We liked that you can see other profiles for making comparisons. In our case, the team should be monitored by several political actors in my country.

For now, it is being used by a department (a group of 5 people) and since it is very useful and easy to use, it is being recommended to other departments. For now, the free version only allows us to analyze two twitter profiles, we would like it to be expanded to at least three, in case of not being able to pay another payment plan, due to the limitations that exist in our country Venezuela.

In the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela there is a strict exchange control (dollars), so we are limited to acquiring the product, however, this government group has tested the tool and has been successful, with regard to saving time and giving quick answers.
  • Something very comfortable is that you do not have to open another account, just with the username on Twitter access to the tool and you can see the evolution of the profile every day, I can see if the number of users increased or not.
  • In addition, I can observe data of my followers, the data of who I follow, and something very important: I can see my tweets and compare data.

Our organization is small, but we still need to measure our impact on social media to help our members understand the impact we are making. We were originally using the stats provided by Twitter (within Twitter itself), but we needed to be able to show changes over the past year. I began researching options and found Twitter Counter. It allows us to show how the number of followers has increased over time as well as the tweets that have had the most impact. It helps to justify the fact that social media is part of our communications strategy and is not a waste of time.

  • Intuitiveness: Twitter Counter user interface is very intuitive, making it a breeze getting a basic understanding of our Twitter data. You do not even need to be on the sales team, or be a data analyst to understand the data provided on Twitter Counter.
  • Pricing: Twitter Counter is very cheap and affordable to use.Comes at around 8usd per month for individuals and at $1440 years for teams(unlimited).
  • Inaccurate Prediction: Twitter predictions are usually ineffective. For instance, Twitter Counter has always wrongly predicted the number of Twitter followers we will gain from a Twitter campaign or at a certain date.
  • Poor customer support; Takes an average of two weeks to get a response from Twitter support. There is also no Live help desk team to talk to when you need an immediate assistance.

Twitter Counter helps to analyze data in the graphical representation and also can export it to pdf and csv which will help to analyze it in the future. It analyzes scenarios where one's account is lacking and needed to improve.
