Frequently Asked Questions

Uberflip is a content marketing platform from the Toronto company of the same name. Central to Uberflip is its content hub for aggregating, centralizing, organizing, and finally curating content for delivery to targeted audiences in streams, culminating in the call-to-action (CTA). Uberflip also contains analytics that show how effective these CTAs are (and in what context they are effective or not) so poor content can be confidently dropped in favor of what works. For $200 monthly the user gets Essential edition, containing the hub, three custom content streams, the Flipbooks feature for twenty PDF files (basically to organize the files and publish them in a more interesting, interactive format), three calls-to-action, and access for one team member. For $600 and $1800 (or $500 and $1500 if billed annually), the Expert and Elite plans, respectively, increase the volume of all of these, permit gated content, automation and advanced behaviors, more advanced analytics, support, and advanced customization for larger content marketing teams.

We use Uberflip as a resource center. We had accumulated plenty of assets but felt that many were falling through the cracks and being underutilized. We also had several blind spots in reporting. We needed a platform that could organize our content marketing efforts and report on them as well — all within a user-friendly system that everyone on our small team could access. That it does. When developing our hub, Uberflip was able to match their environment to our main website. So, now the team can add and edit assets in the backend and have them be presented consistently and professionally on the frontend. As far as metrics, we were looking to increase our web visitors' time-on-page, pages-per-session, and bounce rate. We also wanted a level of reporting that was previously unavailable (for instance, PDF reading data).
  • Increases pages-per-session
  • Increases time on page
  • User-friendly asset creation and editing
  • Reporting — the current system is slow, and the filters and presets are primitive.
  • Development Support — once your hub is built, the support lead time increases tremendously.
  • Communication — a few months ago, there was some sizable downtime and the issues were never formally addressed by our account manager or leadership.
It is a great way to organize your content and bring new life into old assets. For instance, we are able to pin certain assets to high-traffic areas, but every asset has the benefit of being automatically suggested in one way or another to where it doesn't have to be a manual process. The reporting can get very detailed, although getting to that data can be frustrating. I do a quarterly presentation on our web stats, and I dread pulling data from Uberflip — not because it isn't there, but because it is particularly slow.
  • Going by last quarter's numbers, our pages-per-session were performing at 2.5x our goal (4.6 pages per session, according to Google Analytics)
  • Going by last quarter's numbers, our average session duration is a minute shy of our goal (2:15)
  • Our bounce rate hasn't dropped according to Uberflip (however it has dropped dramatically according to Google Analytics, our system of record)
When it comes to asset management, Uberflip has a HubSpot beat. That doesn't mean HubSpot isn't necessary for other functions, but when it comes to the content itself, the backend organization, reporting (item and stream level), and delivery of the content is much more useful in Uberflip. Otherwise, they have the same learning curve.
When they are still building your hub, you can get all sorts of requests pushed through. Once your hub is built, you can easily get lost among their backlog of development support tickets.
We have had to purchase additional support for issues that I believe are platform issues.
Yes
Our request are always acknowledged in a timely manner, but often the back and forth goes on for way too long. I do not get the sense that they really care about resolving the issue, or at least how detrimental some of these issues can be to our user experience.

We use Uberflip to power content experiences globally across our business. It helps us have a centralized location for our content and the ability to better meet the needs of our customers when and how they want to learn about us. We use it to power resource hubs on several websites, host on-demand event experiences, power ABM campaigns and as campaign destinations across marketing.

Uberflip helps increase web lead conversion and aided in increasing organic search traffic. I have seen Uberflip increase marketing productivity by reducing the time to publish content destinations, reducing the need for as many dedicated MAP landing pages, and by allowing regional teams freedom to leverage consistent structure which simplifies approval and compliance.

  • Uberflip's inherent ability to centralize content regardless of format and allow marketers to leverage it to create specific content destinations for a range of marketing use cases has become a mission-critical capability for me. It allows me enable a global distributed team with the tools they need to move rapidly in deploying campaigns to drive awareness and demand.
  • The ability to create personalized content experiences helps drive deeper engagement with our audience and supports account-based marketing efforts at scale.
  • Uberflip allows you to up-level the traditional website resource center experience and provides a way to increase content consumption across our sites. Built-in functionality helps increase organic search traffic by ensuring each content asset is able to be indexed for search.
  • Uberflip also provides a simple way for SDR and sales to share content with customers they are working with while still adhering to branding guidelines and yielding insights on content consumption.
  • While having standardized page templates helps with brand compliance and the ability to publish quickly, the flipside is it can restrict custom needs for say adding additional text on a page or creating a custom layout for a campaign without either engaging Uberflip for design help or having internal resources that can edit code etc.
  • I have seen improvement in Uberflip analytics over the time I have been using the platform but as a data-driven marketer I continue to desire additional insights and ways to connect the data from Uberflip easily with other tracking systems we use.
I think Uberflip is suited for most B2B marketing teams. It is a platform that, for a small team, can provide the infrastructure to deploy content experiences without having to have a lot of internal technical resources and it can grow and scale with them as their teams/business grows. Uberflip can also meet the needs of larger enterprises with the ability to leverage all the same great content but have different teams or divisions pulling the content into the streams they need for their specific campaigns and efforts.
  • Uberflip has helped us engage target accounts, extend content reach, increase conversion on content assets and drive pipeline creation.
  • Uberflip has saved the marketing ops time and reduced error and complexity in managing and distributing content.
  • Uberflip has allowed Marketing to better enable Sales to use current content with prospects.
I have not found another platform that provides all the functionality Uberflip does. Before Uberflip we cobbled together content on our website, in our marketing automation platform, internal share sites for sales and such to give us a fraction of what Uberflip can do.

marketing operations looks after the forms and integration to our MAP, we have partial time spent by content marketing or demand gen to add content assets or update branding etc.
  • Resource center hubs
  • ABM destinations
  • Campaign destinations
  • We stopped printing collateral to bring to in-person tradeshows and instead had a postcard that led people to an Uberflip stream that had all the relevant content on it
It is literally the "hub" of our content destination strategy - we love it and don't see living without it

The benefits have been many; for example, it allowed us to provide personalized content for greater support to the buyer. Uberflip was an excellent experience to generate potential customers and easily add them to workflows. Uberflip provides a personalized and beneficial efficiency, especially for closing the gap between marketing and sales, and putting our content in front of customers, in a nutshell, is helping to keep all content updated and closed on a single platform.
  • Very clean and attractive interface.
  • Ease of use to publish content.
  • The functions are usually very confusing to explain to team members.
  • Problems connecting and reviewing integration problems.
Uberflip is good and helps a lot with the experience of the content. We noticed a constant increase in the flow of our content. We saved many hours of development. It is easy to maintain this product without the need for the development team. Still, the biggest problem we had was the ability to scale our marketing operations.
  • Constant increase in the flow of content.
  • We save hours of work.
We do not like support since it does not provide a correct solution we always have problems and rarely solve it at this time, it takes time to respond and sometimes ignores us, I think this platform could try a little more with good support.
