Good for Larger Employers, but Research!
Prior to the merger with Kronos, UltiPro (now UKG) delivered unrivaled service and superior products but I have noticed now the products are less intuitive and the service is average, at best and what was once a differentiator is now putting them on par with their competitors. We struggled with HR Service Delivery and implementing it to add value to our population, to the point we put it all on hold for over a year. We began resuming the creation of processes using this service more recently but despite having an in-house HCMS manager, the product is more cumbersome than it should be and we required significant assistance from UKG.

Unified HR Platform That Needs Some UX Love
UKG HR Service Delivery (formerly UltiPro, now merged with Kronos) is our company's HR software. It is used by the whole company for all HR needs, from recruiting talent, to goal setting, to employee performance evaluation, to org chart, to benefits administration. It is a truly comprehensive HR tool that meets the needs of the company.

- Unintuitive UI that shows notifications without ability to take action.
- Poor usability for goal-setting.
- Confusing user experience for PTO requests in desktop version.

Great product- would recommend!
UKG HR Service Delivery is our Self-Service Employee portal that is used across the entire organization. It is essentially our one-stop shop for HR to manage employee data and for teammates to receive important information regarding their employment. It is great to have everything in one place to direct teammates whether it is about payroll, benefits, compensation, employee relations. It allows all of our local HRs to share information across the organization so that if someone moves within the company, all of their data goes with them. There are many helpful functions as well including BI reporting for data found in the system that allows us to manage items like referral bonuses in a more automatic, efficient way. The fact that it is now tied to Kronos makes it even more of a helpful tool since Kronos is our time management system.

- It is very customizable to fit our company needs.
- Many opportunities for a workflow to make employee data management more seamless.
- Not able to submit someone to Process Hires more than once, so if they get deleted the whole process has to start from the beginning.
- The mobile app is not as efficient or user-friendly as the desktop version.
- Many times I have been kicked out of the application for no reason and have to log in again and with the MFA, it uses up valuable time.
- If you go to the Onboarding Gateway once, when you leave it and then try to get back in, it forces you to log back in or else close that window and click the link again.
