What is Unsplash for Brands?

Unsplash is an online community hosted by the company of the same name in Montreal, featuring photos and images that are available free. Unsplash for Business is a solution that puts content in the hands of people and add context by sharing visuals with their audiences.

I use Unsplash for Brands for clients and for church. They are commercial platforms, addressing clients in HR / Recruitment. For the church is for people that want to get to know more about God.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have used Unsplash for a number of projects and campaigns. One of the problems that Unsplash has helped me to tackle is the use of images when none of our users could be found to fit the specific need. It allows you access to free, professional photography across a wide range of key search terms.

Pros

  • Allows you to discover a vast range of professionals.
  • Quick access to a library of high quality images.
  • Collect examples of photography styles to use when guiding a campaign design.

Cons

  • Would be nice to search across multiple tags rather than one definitive tag.

Most Important Features

  • A large gallery of images.
  • Being able to work with and help spread the work of great photographers.
