Currently, after the initial setup of Veeam Backup for AWS we have very little in the way of maintenance required to support it's functionality. All System Administrators receive notifications for completed jobs whether they were successful or not and the details in the reports is more than sufficient to support our operations and give confidence that the system is doing it's job.

There are people supporting these from different teams. these
people mainly have the skills in the network area, the database area and their
backups. on and off a few people from cloud team also support this activity. there
are some audit groups also involved for auditing what we are storing and
rightly storing. last but most important monitoring of the size of the data we
are saving.

Currently, we have 2 people who are Veeam Certified with a helpdesk team that is currently employed to take care of the checks for the backup systems. We currently have it automated with email to send out us notifications when a backup fails or completes successfully. If a device fails our team manually goes into each device to look at the logs to see why.
