In fact, its one of the defining characteristics of the solution, in that we can reach out and expect a helpful and timely response from them, instead of trying to work through the issue ourselves. To be honoust, when I entered a support ticket every time the initial response is within 4 hours which seems pretty awesome to me. when an issue is open for a longer time they tend to check in every once in a while, but never disturbing.

Perhaps it's a remnant from Covid staffing issues, but it seems as though the entire support process takes longer now than it used to. It's not uncommon for a lower level support request to take more than a day before I receive the first human response. That said, I haven't had to use support often, so it's not been a major issue.

The support team has never asked me to jump through silly hoops or waste time on pointless exercises. They seem to truly have a handle on what may be wrong.

In fact, when we were having trouble getting our license renewal setup (because of yet another license migration at Veeam) a support incident got us connected to the right people to get our renewal done in time.

Support response can be slow and sometimes tedious if you have a non-generic issue in your environment. Due to my experience with Veeam, I often discover the solutions before support does, but on the rare occasion where I need a higher tier of support, their experience and skill set are excellent. If you truly find something odd in your environment, Veeam Support, Development and their teams of engineers will figure it out and provide custom hot-fixes when necessary.
