Yes, not sure if this counts but I accidentally deleted all of our budget data while in our budget process when I was using the versioning feature. As you can imagine, it was quite scary. I contacted our Vena consultant immediately, he was very calm and reassuring and taught me how to reload our information from a backup that Vena automatically makes. The process was very easy and now I know exactly what to do in case it happens again and am no longer afraid of accidentally destroying everything.

During prime time a template needed an update/redesign due to new needs not previously considered. Support was able to connect to the appropriate level programmer and we hashed out the redesign the same day. It was great.

The training part of the implementation was outstanding. The consultant gave us a full tour of the Vena basic functionalities, helped us set up our universe, and showed us how to upload data into the Vena database. Right after this 2 day training, I was able to create all the templates i needed for my planning process, and get started with our reporting and budgeting processes.

From the first week we are talking with Vena Solutions technical support agents to find out what the simplest and most robust configuration requirements, frankly, communication is very fluid and we can make all the queries we need, we can even request that they inform us with more details and the team always carries out a personalized follow-up to all our requests.

I think in general, the customer support team is really good in helping resolve issues. On more than a couple occasions, on a call with a CS rep, we were unable to resolve the issue within our scheduled call time. The CS rep worked on the issue on the side, and got back to me within the day. We even scheduled a follow up call after to review the fixes. In general, I think they're quite motivated in helping resolve the issue, no matter how big or small.

During our implementation, we had numerous complex data transformation requirements that involved some technical assistance and programming (scripting). This didn't appear to phase Vena and we received exceptional support during this process. Yes, it was difficult and required our constant involvement in design and testing, but it was able to be done in a timely manner. We appreciate when a company can deliver on the needs of customers.

The notification mails from real time updates in the dashboard were once were being blocked because of spamhaus, when we reported the issue to Vena Solutions team, they quickly came back with a solutions for us and help us generously in resolving the issue by providing us with the required documentations and instructions

The business (I'm IT) has had better luck. I'm copied on many of the communications, and Vena's support seems much more prepared to deal with user-facing issues such as template design, etc. than the back-end. They respond quickly to the initial inquiry and updates happen frequently, often intraday. So for the user-facing components, Vena support does a good job of finding solutions, and doing so quickly. The incident in particular that stands out was on fixing a template. Within less than 24 hours, they responded, had a couple of back-and-forths to get more information, then worked with a copy of the template to resolve the issue and provide it back.

Christian Tam has helped us with extraordinary support. We had a special template made for us that had to do with Allocations. During our budget process, we found there was a piece missing that we needed. Christian jumped in to the complex set-up and connections and helped fix the issue. We were on a tight timeline because we had already initiated budgets, and Christian was able to fix everything in a very short period of time.

Our data, data model and reports were inadvertently deleted by our IT department. Vena provided excellent support in trying to help us recover the data and were available as needed to help with the restoration. Early in our use of Vena, we encountered a bug that disconnected some of the data details from the main data elements, and the Vena consultant worked over the weekend to restore the links in the data and fixed the bug as well. We were very appreciative and do not receive that kind of service from most software providers. We haven't encountered any major problems with the Vena solution in the last couple of years, but I would expect excellent customer service if we do in the future.
