What is Ventiv Claims?

Ventiv Claims is a claims administration system that is comprised of one or more Claims Management modules and a variety of supporting modules, including Absence Management, Enterprise Legal Management, Workers’ Compensation, Policy Management, Billing Management, Claims Intelligence, Corrective Action Plans, and Incident Reporting. The system was designed as a claims management system from the perspective of claims examiners. Designed to make it easy to manage claims, it includes functionality like diaries, business rules, workflow management, notepads, and financial management. Ventiv Claims enables users to define custom workflows tailored to each client’s specific business process, to make claim, document, and policy administration more efficient.

Ventiv Claims offers an “out of the box” solution to clients. At the same time, the Ventiv Claims architectural design was developed with the fundamental requirement of flexibility to adapt to meet the changing business requirements of clients. The system modules, fields, interfaces, and reports are user configurable so that Ventiv Claims can be adjusted to meet most organizational processes without custom programming.

  • We pay about $100K per year in support/update fees it has been very difficult to justify these fees as we don't use support much and many of the updates simply brought the product to an approximate level to what we thought we were purchasing in the first place.
  • Self-hosting and owning the software rather than SaaS is an incredible value.

  • We took claims in house from a TPA 13 years ago and chose this claims system. It has allowed us to perform all the functions the TPA did that are necessary for a claims dept. to be successful, but we now have control of every facet of the dept. We can make decisions on various functions, rules, etc. for the way we want to do business and how we see the claim system itself. VS working around all the customers a TPA may work for.
